Ss. Cyril and Methodius University of Skopje
The Saints Cyril and Methodius University of Skopje (Macedonian: Универзитет „Св. Кирил и Методиј“ – Скопје) is the largest university in the Republic of Macedonia. It was named after the Byzantine brothers Cyril and Methodius, also known as the 'Apostles to the Slavs', enlighteners who developed the precursors to Cyrillic script used today in most Slavic languages. More than 50,000 students study at the Skopje University, including some 700 foreign students.

Adam of Govrlevo
The Adam of Govrlevo, often referred to as the Adam of Macedonia, is a Neolithic sculpture found by archaeologist Milos Bilbija of the Skopje City Museum. More than 7.000 years old, it is the oldest artefact found in the Republic of Macedonia and among the oldest in the world. At the world archaeological symposium in Croatia in 2002, archaeologists declared the sculpture one of the world's ten most important archaeological finds. It dates from the 6th millennium BC.

Tumba Madžari

20th Chess Olympiad
The 20th Chess Olympiad, organized by FIDE and comprising an open team tournament, as well as several other events designed to promote the game of chess, took place between September 18 and October 13, 1972, in Skopje, Yugoslavia. For the first time, the Soviet team only comprised 5 GMs and one IM (Savon). Since Bobby Fischer had beaten Spassky earlier in the year, the team wasn't led by the current world champion - also a first.
FON University
The FON University is the second private university established in the Republic of Macedonia, after the liberalisation of the High education law's in 2002. After its establishment great number of professors from the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University of Skopje transferred to the new university and contributed to building a better educational system in Republic of Macedonia.

The Mother Teresa Memorial House (Macedonian: Спомен-куќа на Мајка Тереза) is dedicated to the humanitarian and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Mother Teresa and is located in her hometown Skopje, in Macedonia. The memorial house was built on the popular Macedonia Street in the Centar municipality, on the very location of the once Sacred Heart of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, where Mother Teresa was baptized. It lies just east of the Ristiḱ Palace and the Macedonia Square.

Founded in 1949, it is located in a former railway station that was partly destroyed in the 1963 earthquake. The museum is home to permanent еxhibitions representing the history of Skopje, from the first recorded settlements around 3000 BC to present.

National and University Library "St. Kliment of Ohrid"
National and University Library "St. Kliment Ohridski" in Skopje is one of the first established institutions with the decision of Anti-Fascist Assembly of the National Liberation of Macedonia on 23 November 1944. The rich library tradition on the soil of the Republic of Macedonia, whose roots stretch back to the deeds of pan-Slavonic educators St. Cyril (826-869) and St. Methodius (820-885) is the same foundations on which the Library began to build and develop its activity.
