Govrlevo
Govrlevo is a small village in the Republic of Macedonia, near Skopje. It belongs to the Sopište municipality. Govrlevo is famous for Adam of Macedonia (or "Adam of Govrlevo"), a Neolithic sculpture found by the archaeologist Milosh Bilbija from the Skopje City Museum, and is more than 6.000 years old. Blagica Pavlovska, a famous Macedonian folk-singer was born in Govrlevo.

The church and monastery are dedicated to St. Panteleimon, the patron saint of physicians. The church was constructed in 1164 as a foundation of Alexius Angelus Comnenus, a son of Constantine Angelos and Theodora Komnene, a daughter of Byzantine Emperor Alexios I Komnenos. The church has a domed cruciform core, three apses and a rectangular narthex.
