Capellen
Capellen is a town in the commune of Mamer, in south-western Luxembourg, 12 km west of Luxembourg City. As of 2006, the town has a population of 1,336. Despite not having a commune named after it, Capellen lends its name to the canton of Capellen, and is the only town in Luxembourg to bear the latter distinction but not the former.
Koerich
Koerich is a commune and village in western Luxembourg. It is part of the canton of Capellen, which is part of the district of Luxembourg. As of 2009, the commune of Koerich has a population of 2,310. The other small communities in the commune are Goeblange, Goetzingen and Windhof. With its onion-towered church standing above the ruins of the medieval castle, Koerich has a particularly attractive rural setting although it is only 15 km west of Luxembourg City.
Septfontaines
Septfontaines is a commune and small town in western Luxembourg. It is part of the canton of Capellen, which is part of the district of Luxembourg. As of 2001, the town of Septfontaines, which lies in the centre of the commune, has a population of 356. Other towns within the commune include Greisch and Roodt-sur-Eisch. Septfontaines Castle is one of the castles belonging to the Valley of the Seven Castles.
Goetzingen
Goetzingen is a village in the commune of Koerich, in western Luxembourg. As of 2005, the town had a population of 333. Once an agricultural community, Goetzingen is now almost entirely residential. Owing to its proximity to Capellen and the The A6 motorway or European route E25 to Luxembourg City and Brussels, it is increasingly popular for those working in the surrounding area. Goetzingen forms an extended cross along the CR 109 from Koerich to Capellen and the road from Windhof to Nospelt.

Capellen railway station
Capellen railway station is a railway station serving Capellen, in the commune of Mamer, in south-western Luxembourg. It is operated by Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois, the state-owned railway company. The station is situated on Line 50, which connects Luxembourg City to the west of the country and the Belgian town of Arlon. It lies to the south of Capellen, close to the NAMSA site, on the road from Capellen to Holzem.
