Geography of Lebanon
Lebanon is part of Southwestern Asia, and it is located at about approximately 35˚N, 35˚W, stretching along the eastern shore of the Mediterranean Sea, its length almost three times its width. As it stretches from north to south, the width of its terrain becomes narrower. Mudeirej Bridge
The Mudeirej Bridge or Mdairej Bridge is a bridge in Lebanon. It was partly destroyed on July 12, 2006 during the 2006 Lebanon-Israel conflict. The bridge was inaugurated in 1998 by the assassinated former Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri and built at a cost of $44 million. It stood 75 meters (246 feet) high, making it the highest bridge in Lebanon and lay along a mountainous route on the Beirut-Damascus highway.
Chabrouh Dam
The Faraya-Chabrouh Dam is a dam above the village of Faraya Lebanon, 40 kilometers northeast of Beirut and was inaugurated in 2007. The dam has a height of 63 metres. The reservoir has a capacity of some 8 million cubic meters and is some 1300 metres in length. The dam is located in rural Lebanon and is surrounded by farmland.
Qarnayel
Qarnayel is a town and municipality in Qadaa Baabda, Lebanon. (Baabda district) of Mount Lebanon Governorate . The village is located between 1100–1250 metres above sea level in the western steep slopes of Mount Lebanon, in the upper Matn (Al Matn al A'la) section, 36 Kilometers to the east of Beirut بيروت. The village has a population of nearly 4,500 inhabitants who are Druze and Maronites.

Jeita
Jeita is a Lebanese town located in the Keserwan District in the Mount Lebanon Governorate. The town is about 20 kilometres north of Beirut. It is famous for the Jeita Grotto which is a popular tourist attraction, as well as the Nahr al-Kalb, a river that runs from a spring near the grotto emptying into the Mediterranean Sea. Most of the town's inhabitants are followers of the Maronite Church. The name Jeita is derived from the Aramaic word Ge’itta, meaning "roar" or "noise".

At 73.8 metres tall, the Cross of All Nations is the largest illuminated cross in the world, it was inaugurated on September 13, 2010 on the eve of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross.
