Kenya
Kenya, officially the Republic of Kenya, is a sovereign state in East Africa. The capital and largest city is Nairobi. Kenya lies on the equator with the Indian Ocean to the south-east, Tanzania to the south, Uganda to the west, South Sudan to the north-west, Ethiopia to the north and Somalia to the north-east. Kenya covers 581,309 km and has a population of about 43½ million in early 2013. The country is named after Mount Kenya, the second highest mountain in Africa.
International School of Kenya
The International School of Kenya (or ISK), is an international school for pre-kindergarten to grade 12 located on the outskirts of Nairobi, Kenya. It was established in 1976 and has a 25 hectare campus. Th campus used to be a large coffee plantation, and today, only a few of the original buildings remain. Students can study for a North American High school diploma or the International Baccalaureate Diploma. It is accredited by the MSA, and is the largest international school in Nairobi.
Kabete
Kabete is a town just outside Nairobi borders in the Central Province of Kenya. Administratively, Kabete is a location in the Kikuyu division of the Kiambu District. Kabete is also name for one of the five constituencies in the Kiambu district. Kabete and its environs is inhabited mostly by Kikuyu people. Kabete location has a total population of 29308. A study in 2005 revealed that Kabete constituency has the lowest poverty rate in Kenya http://www. ilri.
State House (Kenya)
State House is the official residence of the President of Kenya. It was originally known as Government House. This building was built in 1907 in Nairobi to serve as the official residence of the Governor of British East Africa when Kenya was a British Colony. The governor would conduct his official functions at the old Provincial Commissioner’s office (now a national monument) next to Nyayo House and then retire to Government House for the day.
Rosslyn Academy
Rosslyn Academy is a private Christian international school in Nairobi, Kenya. It was founded in 1967. It is an international, coed, day school with a North American curriculum and classes from preschool to twelfth grade. Enrollment is approximately 550, with a senior graduating class ranging from 35-50 each year. Approximately 40% of the students are American, and more than 40 nationalities are represented in the school. Most of its teachers are North American certified.
Kianda School
Kianda School is a private, Roman Catholic, all-girls day school located in the Westlands area of Nairobi, Kenya. The school was opened in 1977 by The Kianda Foundation, a non-profit organization that aims to better Kenyan women's lives through education and Christian values. The school began with 40 students but has now grown to a student body of about 900 in both its primary and secondary school sections.
Nairobi School
Nairobi School is a national secondary school in Nairobi, Kenya. It was founded in 1902 by the British settlers who had made Nairobi their home after the construction of the Uganda Railway. In 1925 Lord Delamere and Sir Edward Grigg, then Governor of Kenya, separated the European Nairobi School into a senior boys school (Prince of Wales School), senior girls school (Kenya High School) and a junior school (Nairobi Primary School).
Strathmore School
Strathmore School is Kenya's first multi-racial school established in 1961 in the Lavington area of Nairobi district. It began as a residential Sixth Form College offering British-styled A-level courses and in 1963 switched from the Cambridge School Certificate Examination to the London GCE. In 1977 it became a full-fledged Secondary school. In 1988, the school began offering education under the KCSE - Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education - curricula which it follows to date.

Lavington is a suburb of Nairobi, Kenya. It is a high income residential estate located northwest of the city centre. Lavington belongs to the Westlands administrative division of Nairobi. The bulk of the area now known as Lavington was originally the St Austins Mission established by the French Holy Ghost Fathers. The Strathmore School, Saint Mary's, Loreto Convent school, Braeburn High School, Lavington Primary School and Rusinga School are located in Lavington.

The Aga Khan Academy is a not-for-profit independent school registered with the Ministry of Education, Kenya. With approximately 400 students and more than 50 graduate staff.
United Nations Office at Nairobi
The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) is one of the four major UN office sites where several different UN agencies have a joint presence. The office complex is located in Nairobi, Kenya. It serves as the headquarters of the United Nations Environment Programme, and UN-HABITAT. The complex of buildings is located next to the Karura Forest and across the street (United Nations Avenue) from the US Embassy in Nairobi.

These are owned by the Braeburn Group, which also operates Braeburn College (Nairobi), Mombasa International School, Kisumu International School and Braeburn School Arusha (in Tanzania).

Jaffery Sports Club Ground
The Jaffery Sports Club Ground is a cricket ground situated in Nairobi, Kenya. It hosted its first ODI international during the 2007 World Cricket League in Kenya. The Ground is owned by a sect of the Muslim community in Nairobi. Hence most of the players in the Club team are Islamic. This club plays host to the matches of the Nairobi Jaffery Sports Club from the Nairobi Provincial Cricket Association.
Aga Khan Sports Club Ground
The Aga Khan Sports Club Ground is a cricket ground in Nairobi, Kenya. The pitch is considered to be one of the fastest in Kenya, and the venue hosted four One Day Internationals between 1996 and 1997. Kenya have played first-class matches here against Pakistan A and Namibia, and eight matches were played here during the 1994 ICC Trophy. The ground is used by Aga Khan Sports Club cricket team.

Due to its proximity to a growing city, there have been plans to reduce the forest in favour of housing and other development. However, these plans have been controversial in conservation viewpoint.
