Moi Air Base
Moi Air Base, formerly known as RAF Eastleigh and Eastleigh Airport is a military airport located to the east of Nairobi, in the Eastleigh suburb. The airport is used by the Kenya Air Force. Additionally, the air base is the home of the East African School of Aviation run by the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority, which was established at the airport in 1954 as the DCA training school. The airport is also used to train Kenyan Air Cadets.

The University main campus is located in Kahawa, about 20 kilometres from Nairobi's city centre, along the Nairobi-Thika road. The institution is the second largest in Kenya. Moi International Sports Centre
The Moi International Sports Centre (abbreviated as M.I.S.C. ) is a multi-purpose stadium in Kasarani, Kenya. It was built in 1987 for the All-Africa Games held in Nairobi. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium was used to host the 2009 MTV Africa Music Awards. The stadium had been closed since January 2010 for major renovations costing about Ksh. 900 million, which was funded by a grant to the Government of Kenya by the Government of China.
Kariobangi
Kariobangi is a low-income residential estate in northeastern Nairobi, Kenya. It consists of both apartments and slum-type dwellings. It is split into two parts, Kariobangi North and Kariobangi South. The northern part was constructed first, with first buildings built in 1961. Kariobangi South Estate is straddled by the Outering Road (on the Eastern part) and the Nairobi – Thika railway line on the Western and southerly parts.
Dandora
Dandora is an eastern suburb in Nairobi, Kenya. It is part of the Embakasi division. Surrounding neighbourhoods called estates include Kariobangi, Baba Dogo, Gitare Mariogo and Korogocho. Dandora is divided into five phases. However, the estate has turned into a high-density slum with high unemployment.

Nairobi Gymkhana Club is a cricket ground and team in Nairobi, Kenya. It hosted two matches during the 2003 Cricket World Cup. The ground has a capacity of 7,000 people. It is located north of the central business district, but not far from it. The ground is home to a cricket team of the same name, which is one of the oldest cricket clubs in Kenya.

Muthaiga Country Club
The Muthaiga Country Club is a club in Nairobi, Kenya. It is located in the suburb of Muthaiga, about 15 minutes' drive from the city centre. The Muthaiga Country Club opened on New Year's Eve in 1913, and became a gathering place for the élite White society of British East Africa, which later became, in 1920, the Colony of Kenya. One of the club's main founders was The Hon. Berkeley Cole (1882-1925), an Anglo-Irish aristocrat from Ulster.

Highridge is a residential estate in Nairobi, located in northern parts of the larger Parklands estate. Administratively, Highridge is a subdivision of the Westlands division of Nairobi. The City Park of Nairobi is located east of Highridge, while north of the estate is Sigiria forest, which belongs to the larger Karura Forest.

Aga Khan Sports Club Ground
The Aga Khan Sports Club Ground is a cricket ground in Nairobi, Kenya. The pitch is considered to be one of the fastest in Kenya, and the venue hosted four One Day Internationals between 1996 and 1997. Kenya have played first-class matches here against Pakistan A and Namibia, and eight matches were played here during the 1994 ICC Trophy. The ground is used by Aga Khan Sports Club cricket team.
Jamhuri High School
Jamhuri High School, formerly known as Government Indian School and later The Duke of Gloucester School, is one of the oldest schools in Kenya. It was founded as a Railway Educational Centre in 1906. Prior to Kenya's independence from the British, the school, located at Ngara Nairobi, predominantly enrolled students from the Indian community in Nairobi, hence its former name Government Indian School.
KCA University
KCA University (KCAU) is a private, non-profit institution, founded in July 1989 as Kenya College of Accountancy (KCA) by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) to improve the quality of accountancy and financial management training in the country. KCAU is located on Thika Road in Ruaraka, Nairobi, Kenya. The institution also maintains satellite colleges under the School of Professional Programmes in Githunguri, Kericho, Eldoret and Kisumu.
Karura Forest
Karura Forest is an urban forest in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya. The forest was gazetted in 1932 and is managed by the Kenya Forest Service in conjunction with the Friends of Karura Forest http://www. friendsofkarura. org. Due to its proximity to a growing city, there have been plans to reduce the forest in favour of housing and other development. However, these plans have been controversial in conservation viewpoint.
Sir Ali Muslim Club Ground
Sir Ali Muslim Club Ground is a cricket ground in Nairobi, Kenya. The first recorded match held on the ground came in 1994 when Young Kenya played Bangladesh in a warm-up match for the ICC Trophy which Kenya was hosting. In the main event itself, the ground held seven matches involving various national teams. In 2003 the ground held its first List A matches when Kenya played Sri Lanka A in a two match series. The following year a third List A match was held there when Kenya played Pakistan A.
Kiambu County
Kiambu County is a county covering the former administrative district in the old Central Province of Kenya. Its capital town is Kiambu. The district is adjacent to the northern border of Nairobi and has a population of 744,010. The district is predominantly rural, but its urban population is increasing as Nairobi is growing rapidly. Kikuyu are the dominant tribe in the county. In 2007, Kiambu District was subdivided in two: Kiambu East and Kiambu West.
