Ramoth-Gilead
Ramoth-Gilead,, is a city of refuge east of the Jordan river; called "Ramoth in Gilead". It was in the tribal territorial allotment of the tribe of Gad.
Daraa
Daraa, also Darʿā, Dara’a, Deraa, Dera, and Derʿā, is a city in southwestern Syria, just north of the border with Jordan. It is the capital of Daraa Governorate, historically part of the ancient Hauran region. The city is located about 90 kilometres south of Damascus on the Damascus-Amman highway, and is used as a stopping station for travelers.
Irbid
Irbid, known in ancient times as Arabella or Arbela, is the capital and largest city of the Irbid Governorate. It also has the second largest metropolitan population in Jordan after Amman, with a population of around 660,000, and is located about 70 km north of Amman on the northern ridge of the Gilead, equidistant from Pella, Beit Ras, and Um Qais. The city of Irbid is the third largest city in Jordan by population. Metropolitan Irbid is the second largest.

Yarmouk University is a public university in Irbid in northern Jordan. It was established by a Royal Decree in 1976.
Raphana
Raphana, in present-day north of Jordan, was a city of the Decapolis. It is thought to lie north of Umm Qais in the Abilene plain. The city was the base camp of the Roman legions Legio III Gallica and of Legio XII Fulminata.
Abila (Decapolis)
Abila Dekapoleos – Abila in the Decapolis or Abila was an ancient city, near the Hieromax river in the Decapolis; the site is occupied by two tells and the village of Hartha, approximately 13 km north-northeast of Irbid, Jordan. The site is 25 km east of the Sea of Galilee and 4 km south of Wadi Yarmouk river. The name "Abila" is derived from the Semitic word Abel (in Hebrew, "meadow" and in Arabic, "green growth")
Abila (Peraea)
Abila – also, Biblical: Abel-Shittim or Ha-Shittim (or simply Shittim) – was an ancient city east of the Jordan River in Moab, later Peraea, near Livias, about twelve km northeast of the north shore of the Dead Sea; the site is now that of Abil-ez-Zeit, Jordan. Abel-Shittim (Hebrew meaning "Meadow of the Acacias"), is found only in Num. xxxiii.49; but Ha-Shittim (Hebrew meaning "The Acacias"), evidently the same place, is mentioned in Num. xxv.1, Josh. iii.1, and Micah, vi.5.
Jordan University of Science and Technology
The Jordan University of Science and Technology, often abbreviated JUST, is a comprehensive, state-supported university located on the outskirts of Irbid,at Ar Ramtha in northern Jordan. Since its establishment in 1986, JUST has been at the forefront of institutions of higher learning in the Arab world, it also maintains a high reputation and standard amongst the universities of the Middle East.
King Abdullah University Hospital
King Abdullah University Hospital, often abbreviated KAUH, is a hospital near Ar Ramtha, Jordan. It largest medical structure in the north of the country, serving the approximately one million inhabitants of the Irbid, Ajloun, Jerash, and Mafraq governorates. It is also the teaching hospital affiliated with Jordan University of Science and Technology, located within the campus adjacent to the university's Medical Faculties Complex.
Habaka
Habaka is a small hill town in northern Jordan, located 75 km north of the capital Amman (in Arabic عمان), and about 5 km south of Irbid . The region has a very fertile soil along with suitable climate allows the growing of wide variety of high quality crops. The main products are olives and grapes. There is a substantial area of pine forests on the hills that are extending from Ajloun. Habaka has a population of 1800.
Al-Hassan Stadium
Al-Hasan Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Irbid, Jordan. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium holds 15,000 people.
Huwwarah
Huwwarah, also spelled Huwwara and Huwarrah, is a village in northern Jordan. It is situated in the Governorate of Irbid, and is one of many agricultural villages in the fertile mud plains of Hauran. The mud plains of Hauran bridge the gap between the Golan Heights in the west and the Sham desert to the east. The southern part of Hauran is in North Jordan. Huwwarah if flanked by the ancient sites of Ramoth-Gilead in Gilead to the east and Arabella (Irbid) to the west.

The Daraa Border Crossing is an international border crossing between Syria and Jordan. It is situated along the Damascus-Amman section of the Hejaz Railway.
Dion, Jordan
Dion (alternatively Adun, Idoun, or Aydoun) is the name of an ancient city, which was a member of the Decapolis during the classical period. The exact location of the city is still disputed, but is thought to be a site site near Al Hisn currently known as Aydoun, around the city of Irbid in Jordan.
Romtha
Romtha, Ramtha, Ramoth, Ar Ramtha, Al Romtha, Ermeith, Ramath, Ramtha'a are all names for the same region, a flat location 30 km north-east of Jordan River.
