Geography of Jersey
This article describes the geography of Jersey, an island territory in the English Channel. The island of Jersey has an area of 119 square kilometres, with 70 kilometres of coastline. Jersey claims a territorial sea of 3 nmi and an exclusive fishing zone of 12 nmi . Jersey is the largest and southernmost of the Channel Islands. It is located north of Brittany and west of the Cotentin Peninsula in Normandy.

Battle of Jersey
The Battle of Jersey (January 6, 1781) was an attempt by France to invade Jersey and remove the threat the island posed to French and American shipping in the American War of Independence. Jersey was used as a base for privateering by the British, and France, engaged in the war as an ally of the United States, sent an expedition to gain control of the island. The expedition ultimately failed, and its commander, Baron Phillipe de Rullecourt, died of wounds sustained in the fighting.

The Parish Church of St Helier is the parish church of the parish of Saint Helier, Jersey. It is one of the twelve 'Ancient Parish Churches' of Jersey, and serves as the Island's civic church and Pro-Cathedral.
Jersey Railway
The Jersey Railway was opened in 1870 and was originally a standard gauge railway, 3.75 miles long, in Jersey in the Channel Islands. Converted to narrow gauge in 1884 and extended, the line closed in 1936. It is not to be confused with the Jersey Eastern Railway.
Jersey Eastern Railway
The Jersey Eastern Railway was a railway opened in 1873 in Jersey. The line closed in 1929. It is not to be confused with the Jersey Railway. It was standard gauge. The line began at Saint Helier, with intermediate stations located at Georgetown, Samarès, Le Hocq, Pontac, La Rocque and Fauvic, with the eastern terminus in Grouville, originally opposite the Wimbledon Hotel, later extended to Gorey.
Jersey Heritage
Jersey Heritage is an independent trust in Jersey which is responsible for the island's major historic sites, museums, and public archives. It holds collections of artefacts, works of art, documents, specimens, and information relating to Jersey's history, culture, and environment. The Trust was formally registered in Jersey on 3 June 1983. The Trust is financed by an annual grant from the States of Jersey, sponsorships, and venue admission fees.
Saint Helier Marina
St Helier Marina is one of several marinas located in Saint Helier, and is operated by Jersey Harbours. The marina is mostly used for berthing private yachts using a series of pontoons. Since 2008, the marina has been the venue for the annual Jersey Boat Show.
King Street, Saint Helier
King Street forms part of Saint Helier's main shopping area in Jersey. It is a pedestrianised street which runs from Charing Cross at its west end to Queen Street at its east end. It includes a spur that links to Broad Street which is also called King Street in English, but Ruette Haguais in gallicised Jèrriais.
