Yasukuni Shrine
is a Shinto shrine located in Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. It is dedicated to those who died on behalf of the Empire of Japan. It lists the names of over 2,466,000 enshrined men, women and children. It also houses one of the few Japanese war museums dedicated to World War II. The shrine is not only for soldiers but for anyone who died on behalf of the Emperor of Japan.
Iidabashi Station
Iidabashi Station is a major interchange station which straddles Tokyo's Chiyoda, Shinjuku and Bunkyō wards. It was originally built as Iidamachi Station (albeit in a slightly different location), terminus of the then Kobu railway, precursor to today's Chūō Line. Koishikawa Kōrakuen Garden can be reached by walking from this station. The Ōedo Line addition to the station in 2000 was designed by architect Makoto Sei Watanabe.
