GEOS (eikaiwa)
was one of the Big Four private eikaiwa, or English conversation teaching companies, in Japan. Its extensive network of overseas schools made it the world's largest language school chain. The firm went into bankruptcy in Japan on 20 April 2010. Its headquarters were in the Shin Osaki Kangyo Building in Shinagawa, Tokyo. GEOS, which stands for Global Education Opportunities and Services, was started in 1973 by Tsuneo Kusunoki.
Gotanda
is a busy neighbourhood in the Shinagawa ward of Tokyo, Japan. The name "Gotanda" can be literally translated as "a (rice) paddy of half-hectare's size". The district straddles the Meguro river, and is located between the Meguro and Ōsaki stations on the JR Yamanote Line. The neighbourhood is centered on the Gotanda Station, which is served by the Toei Asakusa Line and the elevated Tōkyū Ikegami Line in addition to the Yamanote line. The JR loop severs the neighbourhood into two districts.

The three hotels, effectively managed as one, are situated in a 10-acre garden which formerly belonged to a member of the Japanese Imperial Family.

Rissho University
Rissho University, one of the oldest universities in Japan, was founded in 1580, when a seminary was established as a learning center for young monks of the Nichiren shu. The university's name came from the Rissho Ankoku Ron, a thesis written by Nichiren, a prominent Buddhist priest of the Kamakura period. Rissho University enrolls approximately 11,900 students. It has 14 undergraduate departments and 6 graduate school research departments on two separate campuses.

Takanawadai Station is a subway station on the Toei Asakusa Line, operated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Transportation. It is located in Minato, Tokyo, Japan. Its number is A-06. Takanawadai has one platform serving two tracks. Track 1 is for passengers traveling toward Nishi-Magome Station. Track 2 serves those heading toward Sengakuji and Oshiage Stations. The station serves the Shirokanedai neighborhood.
Hatakeyama Memorial Museum of Fine Art
The Hatakeyama Memorial Museum of Fine Art is a private museum in Tokyo, Japan centered around tea utensils. It holds old Japanese, Chinese and Korean works of art such as paintings, calligraphic writings, pottery, lacquer items and Noh costumes. Of the circa 1300 objects in the collection, 6 are National Treasures and 32 have been designated as Important Cultural Properties of Japan.
Hara Museum of Contemporary Art
The Hara Museum of Contemporary Art is one of the oldest museums of contemporary art in Japan. The museum is in the Kita-Shinagawa district, in the Shinagawa area of Tokyo. The building was originally built as a private home. It was designed by Jin Watanabe and completed in 1938, making it a rare example of early Shōwa period architecture. In 1979, it was converted to a museum. It underwent a major renovation in 2008, including a new lighting system designed by Shozo Toyohisa.
