John Lennon Museum was a museum located inside the Saitama Super Arena in Chūō-ku, Saitama, Saitama Prefecture, Japan. It was established to preserve knowledge of John Lennon's life and musical career. It displayed Lennon's widow Yoko Ono's collection of his memorabilia as well as other displays. The museum opened on October 9, 2000, the 60th anniversary of Lennon’s birth, and closed on September 30, 2010, when its exhibit contract with Yoko Ono expired.

Hikawa Shrine is a Japanese Shinto shrine in Omiya-ku, Saitama, Saitama Prefecture. Surrounding the shrine is a large park in which there are many cherry blossom trees, a zoo and a museum. The district of Omiya, literally "Great Shrine", derives from the special favor shown by Emperor Meiji, who raised Hikawa above all other shrines in the Kantō region. Standing behind three torii gates in a wood with many ancient Japanese elms, it claims to have a 2400-year history.

, often shortened to Nishikō is a public high school, located in Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture, in Japan. It is one of the few public schools in the prefecture that does not have a school uniform. Until the 1970s, the school enjoyed prestigious position after Urawa High School and Urawa Ichijo High School. During the 80s and 90s, it was known as one of the best public schools and sent its alumni to best colleges in Japan including Tokyo University.
Ōmiya Velodrome
Ōmiya Velodrome is a velodrome located in Ōmiya-ku, Saitama that conducts pari-mutuel Keirin racing - one of Japan's four authorized "Public Sports" where gambling is permitted. Its Keirin identification number for betting purposes is 25# (25 sharp). Ōmiya's oval is 500 meters in circumference. A typical keirin race of 2,025 meters consists of four laps around the course. Inside the keirin oval is a 400-meter running track used for track and field athletics events.
