Yokohama Chinatown
Yokohama Chinatown is located in Yokohama, Japan, which is located just south of Tokyo. Its history is about 150 years long. Today only a few Chinese people still live in Chinatown, but it has a population of about 3,000 to 4,000. Most of the residents are from Guangzhou (Canton) but many come from other regions. Yokohama Chinatown is the largest Chinatown not only in Japan but also in Asia (larger than Chinatowns in both Kobe and Nagasaki) and it is one of the largest in the world.

Its official name, as shown on signage in the station, is Motomachi-Chūkagai Station (Yamashita-kōen) with the sub-name in parentheses although the use of this name is limited. Nihon-ōdōri Station
, is an underground metro station located in Naka-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan operated by the Yokohama Minatomirai Railway’s Minatomirai Line. It is 3.2 kilometers from the terminus of the Minatomirai Line at Yokohama Station. Its official name is Nihon-ōdōri (Kenchō-Ōsanbashi) Station, including the sub-name in parentheses. Trains inter-run with the Tōkyū Tōyoko Line from Shibuya Station.
Yokohama Archives of History
The Yokohama Archives of History in Naka ward, central Yokohama near Yamashita Park is a repository for many precious archive materials on Japan and the foreign connection with Japan since the arrival of Commodore Matthew Perry in 1853. The archives are next to Kaiko Hiroba (Port Opening Square) where Commodore Perry landed to sign the Convention of Kanagawa. The archives are housed in a newly built annex to the former British Consulate building.
Hotel New Grand
The Hotel New Grand is a historic hotel in Yokohama, Japan, overlooking Yamashita Park. It opened in 1927, four years after the Great Kantō earthquake devastated much of the city. The hotel was used as accommodation by American troops during the Occupation of Japan following World War II; one of the hotel suites is set aside and maintained just as it was furnished when General Douglas MacArthur stayed there, his first night in Japan during the Occupation.

Heichinrou
Heichinrou, is a Chinese restaurant located in the Chinatown of Yokohama, Japan. It is privately held and is the oldest operating Chinese restaurant in Japan. The Zhang (張) family first started the restaurant and operated for it for two generations, then the Bao (鮑) family for three generations until Tatsuo Hayashi (林達雄) took over. Today his son, Yasuhiro Hayashi (林康弘) operates as the seventh president.

The objective of the museum is, according to their website: to disseminate an understanding of the science and technology of silk production, display beautiful costumes for people to admire and promote the demand for silk.
Hikawa Maru
is a Japanese ocean liner that was built for the Nippon Yusen KK line by the Yokohama Dock Company. She was launched on 30 September 1929, and made her maiden voyage from Kobe to Seattle on 13 May 1930. She is one of three sister ships. The sister ships were named after important Shinto shrines, Hikawa Shrine being located in Saitama. The other two, both lost in the war, were Heian Maru and Hie Maru.
Ferris University
Ferris University is a private women's college in Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan. The predecessor of the school was founded by American Presbyterian missionaries in 1870 with the assistance of James Curtis Hepburn, primarily to teach the English language and western cultural values to women. The male counterpart of the school later became Meiji Gakuin University. It was chartered as a junior college in 1950 and became a four-year college in 1965.
