Shonan Monorail
The Shonan Monorail is a suspended SAFEGE monorail located in the cities of Kamakura and Fujisawa in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. It is operated by the Shonan Monorail Co. , Ltd. , the line opened March 7, 1970, and was the first monorail of its kind in Japan. Enoshima Line travels 6.6 km every seven to eight minutes between Ōfuna Station and Enoshima, making six stops. The average length of a single trip is 14 minutes.

Tōkei-ji
, also known as Kakekomi-dera or Enkiri-dera), is a Buddhist temple and a former nunnery, the only survivor of a network of five nunneries called Amagozan, in the city of Kamakura in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. It is part of the Rinzai school of Zen's Engaku-ji branch, and was opened by Hōjō Sadatoki in 1285. It is best known as a historic refuge for women who were abused by their husbands. It is for this reason sometimes referred to as the "Divorce Temple".
Ōfuna Kannon
The Ōfuna Kannon, Ōfuna Kannonji (大船観音寺), or Muga sozan Ōfuna Kannonji is a Buddhist temple in Kamakura, Kanagawa, Japan. The outstanding feature of the temple is a 25 meter tall 1,900 ton reinforced concrete statue of Kan'non which is dedicated to the bodhisattva Kannon or Kuan Yin. Construction of the Temple began in 1929 by the Sōtō Buddhist sect. The outline of the statue was complete by 1934 but work was suspended at the outbreak of the Pacific War.

The main objects of worship are the three statues of Shaka, Miroku and Amida Nyorai visible inside the main hall.

Kamakura Women's University is a private women's college in Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. The predecessor of the school, a women's vocational school, was founded in 1943.
