Hyōgo Prefecture
Hyōgo Prefecture is a prefecture of Japan located in the Kansai region on Honshu island. The capital is Kobe. The prefecture's name was previously alternately spelled as Hiogo.
Fukuhara-kyō
Fukuhara-kyō (福原京, Capital of Fukuhara) was the seat of Japan's Imperial Court, and therefore the capital of the country, for roughly six months in 1180. It was also the center of Taira no Kiyomori's power and the site of his retirement palace. Fukuhara, in or near what is today Hyōgo Ward in the city of Kobe, was made the official residence of Taira no Kiyomori in 1160, following the Heiji Rebellion in which his Taira clan crushed the rival Minamoto clan.

Sōraku-en
The gardens of Sōraku-en are located in Chūō-ku, Kobe, Japan. Formerly attached to the Taishō-era residence of Kodera Yasujirō, ownership passed to the city of Kobe in 1941, since when they have been open to the public. Most of the former residence was destroyed in the Pacific War; the stables of 1907 survived and have been designated an Important Cultural Property.
