Yoshiro (Ogimachi Village, Shirakawago)
Yoshiro is the minshuku that I stayed in every time I went to Shirakawago. It's simply the greatest experience I've had in Japan. I highly recommend Yoshiro to anyone visiting Ogimachi.

Ōno District, Gifu
Ōno District, Gifu is a district of Japan in Gifu Prefecture. The district is in a mountainous region near the geographic centre of Japan. Prior to 1 February 2005, the district comprised seven small communities, but on that day six of them merged into the expanded city of Takayama. Ōno district now contains only the village of Shirakawa, which is declining to merge with any municipality.
