Kyushu University
, abbreviated to Kyudai, is a Japanese public university located in Fukuoka, west side of Japan. It is located in Fukuoka, and is one of Japan's National Seven Universities. The history of Kyushu University can be traced by medical schools of the feudal domains built in 1867, and now it is the largest public university in the Kyushu island. In 2011 QS World University Rankings[18 18] ranked Kyushu University 122nd in the world.

1953 North Kyushu Flood
The 1953 North Kyushu Flood was the flood which hit Northern Kyushu, Japan in June 1953. The torrential rain of the rainy season, amounting to more than 1,000 mm on Aso and Hikosan mountains, produced the great flood to many rivers such as Chikugo River and the toll of more than 1,000 people dead and missing. 450.000 houses were flooded and 1,000,000 people suffered from the flood.
Jōten-ji
Jōten-ji is a Rinzai temple in Hakata, Fukuoka, Japan. Its honorary sangō prefix is Banshōsan . It was founded by Enni-Ben'en with support from Xie Guo Ming, a Chinese merchant, and construction was completed in 1242.
