Onoe, Aomori
Onoe, Aomori was a town located in Minamitsugaru District in central Aomori Prefecture, Japan. Onoe Village was founded on April 1, 1889. It was elevated to town status on April 1, 1937. It merged with neighboring Saruga Village on January 1, 1955 and annexed a portion of Inakadate Village on June 10, 1956. On January 1, 2006 it was merged with the neighboring town of Hiraka and village of Ikarigaseki, to form the new city of Hirakawa, and thus no longer exists as an independent municipality.

Saruka Jinja
Saruka Jinja is a Shinto shrine in Hirakawa, Aomori Prefecture, Japan. The shrine is said to have been founded in 807, when Sakanoue no Tamuramaro came north during the campaigns against the Ezo. The Honden, dating to 1826, is a Prefecturally-designated Important Cultural Property. Preserved building records are a City-designated Important Cultural Property (Historic Materials). There is an annual rice-planting festival and a pond of pink lotus.
Seibi-en
Seibi-en is a landscape garden and nationally-designated Place of Scenic Beauty in Hirakawa, Aomori Prefecture, Japan. The garden was laid out between 1902 and 1911. The gardens are attached to the Seibikan, mansion of the Kiyofuji family, a Meiji-period fusion of Japanese and Western architectural styles, with an octagonal turret, a faux marble pillar in the tokonoma, and tatami floors.
