Arimatsu, Aichi
Arimatsu, Aichi was a town in Aichi Prefecture, Japan. It houses the Arimatsu Station of the Meitetsu-Nagoya Line, about 11 km southeast of downtown Nagoya. The town merged into Nagoya on 1 December 1964 and is now a part of Midori-ku, Nagoya. It is a historical center of shibori or tie-dyeing workmanship, since the seventeenth century, dating back to 1608.
