Sant'Erasmo
Sant'Erasmo is an island in the Venetian Lagoon lying north of the Lido and north east of Venice, Italy. The island was a port attached to Murano in the 8th century, but is now known for market gardening. Ruined fortifications, including the so-called Torre Massimiliana (Tower of Maximilian), ring the isle. Forts existed in the island as early as the 16th century. After the fall of the Republic of Venice, the French built here a stronghold in 1811-1814.

As of 2005, the main comuni by population are:
Sant'Elena
Sant'Elena is an island of Venice. It lies at the eastern tip of the main island group and forms part of sestiere of Castello. The original island was separated by an arm of the Venetian Lagoon from Venice itself, and was centred on the Church of Sant'Elena and its monastery, originally built in the twelfth century and rebuilt in the 15th. The island has since been expanded to fill in the gap and is linked by Venice by three bridges.
San Pietro di Castello (church)
The Basilica di San Pietro di Castello (English: Basilica of St Peter of Castello), commonly called San Pietro di Castello, is a Roman Catholic minor basilica of the Patriarch of Venice located in the Castello sestiere of the Italian city of Venice. The present building dates from the 16th century, but a church has stood on the site since at least the 7th century. From 1451 to 1807, it was the city's cathedral church, serving as both the spiritual and administrative centre of religious Venice.
La Certosa
La Certosa is an island in the Venetian Lagoon, northern Italy. It is located north-east of Venice, less than 250 meters from San Pietro di Castello and little more than 500 meters from the Venice; a ca. 20 m-wide channel separates it from the Vignole island. La Certosa has a surface of some 22 ha.
Vignole
For the comune in the province of Alessandria, see Vignole Borbera Vignole (also Le Vignole) is an island in the Venetian Lagoon, northern Italy, with a surface of some 69.20 ha. It is located north-east to Venice, between the Sant'Erasmo and La Certosa islands. Vignole is actually formed by the two distinct islands, connected by a bridge. Like Sant'Erasmo, it houses a scanty population, most of which work in the agriculture field.
Sant'Andrea (Venetian Lagoon)
Sant'Andrea is a small island in the Venetian Lagoon, northern Italy. It houses the Forte di Sant'Andrea, a large fortress built in the 16th century to defend Venice. Sant'Andrea constitutes a prolongation of the island of Vignole, from which it is separated by a narrow channel, towards the Porto di San Nicolò on the Lido, between Venice's Island and the island of Sant'Erasmo.
