Orto Botanico dell'Università di Siena
The Orto Botanico dell'Università di Siena (2.5 hectares) is a botanical garden operated by the University of Siena. It is located at Via P. A. Mattioli, 4, Siena, Tuscany, Italy, and open daily without charge. The garden's history reaches back to 1588 when the university began to raise medicinal herbs. In 1756 the field of herbal studies was supplanted by natural history, and starting in 1759, under the direction of Giuseppe Baldassarri, the garden began to collect uncommon plants.
Pinacoteca Nazionale (Siena)
The Pinacoteca Nazionale is a national museum in Siena, Tuscany, Italy. Inaugurated in 1932, it houses especially late medieval and Renaissance paintings from Italian artists. It is housed in the Brigidi and Buonsignori palaces in the city's center: the former, built in the 14th century, it is traditionally identified as the Pannocchieschi family's residence. Buonsignori Palace, although built in the 15th century, has a 19th century neo-medival façade based on the city's Palazzo Pubblico.

The church of Santi Pietro e Paolo is a Baroque church in Central Siena, Italy, found on via San Marco. It originally was annexed to a nearby monastery. Built in 1622, the brick façade was completed in 1678, work of Niccolò Franchini. The cupola, supported with an octagonal tambor, was completed in 1645, while the lantern was reconstructed in 1818 by Agostino Fantastici. I has been in use by the Contrada della Chiocciola since 1814, after the suppression of the monastery of San Paolo.
San Sebastiano in Vallepiatta
San Sebastiano in Vallepiatta is an ancient church found next to piazzeta della Selva in Siena, Italy. The construction of the building began in 1493, under the patronage of the guild of weavers (Tessitori). Built in the shape of a Greek cross, it has a cupola with a cylindrical tambor. The design is attributed to Francesco di Giorgio Martini. Most of the brick façade has only a sliver of a cornice with architrave in travertine marble, added in 1545-1550.

The Oratory of Sant'Antonio da Padova (St Anthony of Padua) is a small church on Via Tommaso Pendola (formerly Via delle Murella) in Siena, Italy. The oratory is property of the "Ward of the Turtle" or Contrada della Tartuca, and now commonly called Sant'Antonio alle Murella. Siena also has a separate church of Sant'Antonio da Padova located elsewhere in the city in the Contrada della Civetta.
San Sebastiano (Siena)
San Sebastiano is an ancient church facing piazzetta della Selva in Siena, Italy. It is located in the Contrada della Selva. Church construction began in 1492 and completed in 1656. The interior is frescoed by 16th century painters, depicting Dream of St Irene by Stefano Volpi, a Glory of St Sebastian and a Virtue and Angels by Sebastiano Folli, a Stories of St Sebastian by Pietro Sorri and Rutilio Manetti.
Fortezza Medicea (Siena)
Siena’s Fortezza Medicea (the Medici Fortress sometimes called the Fort of Saint Barbara) is a fort built in the city between 1561 and 1563 on the orders of Duke Cosimo, a few years before he became the first Grand Duke of Tuscany. The fortress is positioned on the northern edge of the central Siena in the San Prospero quarter, and since 1923 has overlooked the city’s Artemio Franchi /Montepaschi Arena.
