The Italian Grand Prix (Gran Premio d'Italia) is one of the longest running events on the Formula One calendar. The Italian Grand Prix was also one of the inaugural Formula One championship races in 1950, and has been held every year since then. The only other championship race for which this is true is the British Grand Prix, and the only other inaugural F1 race that is still on the calendar is the Belgian Grand Prix.
2000 Italian Grand Prix
The 2000 Italian Grand Prix was a Formula One race held on September 10, 2000 at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza near Monza, Italy. It was the fourteenth race of the 2000 Formula One season. The event was marred by tragedy as a first lap accident claimed the life of a trackside marshal.
2001 Italian Grand Prix
The 2001 Italian Grand Prix was a Formula One race held at Monza on 16 September 2001. It was the fifteenth round of the 2001 Formula One season. The race, contested over 53 laps, was the first Formula One victory for Williams driver Juan Pablo Montoya after a long battle with Ferrari driver Rubens Barrichello, who finished second. The other Williams driver Ralf Schumacher finished third.
2002 Italian Grand Prix
The 2002 Italian Grand Prix was a Formula One race held at Monza on September 15, 2002. It was another dominating one-two finish for Ferrari, with Rubens Barrichello winning on a two-stop strategy, in front of his one-stopping team mate Michael Schumacher. Jaguar-Cosworth's Eddie Irvine finished third.
2003 Hungarian Grand Prix
The 2003 Hungarian Grand Prix was a Formula One race held on August 24, 2003 at the Hungaroring. It was won by Renault's Fernando Alonso from pole, becoming at the time the youngest ever driver to win a Grand Prix, beating the previous record of Bruce McLaren. This record lasted for over five years until it was beaten by Sebastian Vettel on September 14, 2008 in the 2008 Italian Grand Prix.

2004 Italian Grand Prix
The 2004 Italian Grand Prix was a Formula One race held on September 12, 2004 at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza. Ferrari took a 1-2 in front of the delighted Tifosi, with Rubens Barrichello ahead of team mate Michael Schumacher. Both cars had to make their way through the field from the back, Barrichello having made an early pitstop after choosing the wrong tyres at the start and Schumacher having spun on the first lap. The race was perhaps best known for speed records set during the race.
2005 Italian Grand Prix
The 2005 Italian Grand Prix was a Formula One race, held on September 4, 2005 at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza circuit. Fifteenth race of the 2005 Formula One season, it was the event in which Juan Pablo Montoya achieved the fastest ever speed recorded during a F1 race, 372.6 km/h (231.5 mph).
2006 Italian Grand Prix
The 2006 Italian Grand Prix was a Formula One motor race held on 10 September 2006 at Autodromo Nazionale Monza. It was the fifteenth round of the 2006 Formula One season, and was won by Michael Schumacher driving a Ferrari car. Immediately following the race, Michael Schumacher announced that he would retire from motor racing at the end of the 2006 season. Robert Kubica achieved his first career podium finish, in only his third Grand Prix.

The 2007 Italian Grand Prix was a Formula One motor race held from 7 to 9 September 2007 at Autodromo Nazionale Monza, Italy. It was the thirteenth race of the 2007 Formula One season. Going into the race, McLaren's Lewis Hamilton held a 5-point lead over team-mate Fernando Alonso in the Drivers' Championship, whilst McLaren held an 11-point lead over Ferrari in the Constructors' Championship.

The 2008 Italian Grand Prix (formally the LXXIX Gran Premio Santander d'Italia) was a Formula One motor race held on September 14, 2008 at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza, Monza, Italy. It was the 14th race of the 2008 Formula One season. The race, contested over 53 laps, was won by Sebastian Vettel for the Toro Rosso team after starting from pole position. Heikki Kovalainen finished second in a McLaren, and Robert Kubica third in a BMW Sauber.
Royal Villa of Monza
The Royal Villa is a historical building in Monza, northern Italy. It was originally built by Giuseppe Piermarini between 1777 and 1780 when Lombardy was part of Austrian Empire, for the Archduke Ferdinand of Austria. It lies on the banks of the Lambro, surrounded by the large Monza Park, one of the largest enclosed parks in Europe.
