Politecnico di Milano
The Politecnico di Milano is the largest technical university in Italy, with about 38,700 students. It offers undergraduate, graduate and higher education courses in Engineering, Architecture and Design. Founded in 1863, it is the oldest university in Milan. The Politecnico has two main campuses in Milan city, where the majority of the research and teaching activity are located, and other satellite campuses in five other cities across Lombardy and Emilia Romagna.

The Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) is a design school that attracts students from over 90 different countries to its one and three year/four undergraduate, masters courses and advanced training courses. The school is separated into four disciplines:Design, Fashion, Visual Communication and Management. Spread nine cities (Milan, Turin, Venice, Cagliari, Florence, Rome, Barcelona, Madrid, São Paulo) and thirteen locations, IED locations occupy over 50,000 square metres of space.

Quartiere Feltre
Quartiere Feltre is a residential district of Milan, Italy. It is located in the Zone 3 administrative division, extending east of the city centre, adjacent to the districts of Lambrate and Cimiano, the Lambro river and the Tangenziale Est ring road. It is named after Via Feltre, a large suburban street that connects Milan to the Parco Lambro city park. The district mainly comprises large apartment blocks, built in the late 1950s with state subsidies.

It forms part of the Milan belt railway, and also the railways linking Milan with Genoa, Venice, Bologna and Mantua.
Fontana a Pinocchio
The Fontana a Pinocchio ("Fountain dedicated to Pinocchio") is a fountain located in a traffic island in Corso Indipendenza, a central avenue of Milan, Italy. It is decorated with a complex of bronze statues based on Carlo Collodi's The Adventures of Pinocchio, designed by Italian sculptor Attilio Fagioli (1877-1966) and realized by the "Fonderia Artistica Battaglia" foundry. The statues were completed by Fagioli in 1955 and the fountain was inaugurated on May 19, 1956.

The Mosque of Segrate, also known as Masjid al-Rahmàn or Mosque of the Merciful, is a mosque in Milan, Italy, located on the border to Segrate and the Milano 2 suburb. It was the first mosque with a dome and minaret to be built in Italy after the demolishment of the last mosques in Lucera in the 14th century. The mosque opened on May 28, 1988, and it has been, ever since, Milan's most important mosque and the second most important mosque in Italy after that of Rome.
