Planica
Planica is an alpine valley in northwestern Slovenia, extending south from the border village of Rateče, not far from another well-known ski resort, Kranjska Gora. Further south, the valley extends into the Tamar Valley, a popular hiking destination in Triglav National Park. Planica is famous for ski jumping. The first ski jumping hill was constructed before 1930 at the slope of Mount Ponca. In 1934, Stanko Bloudek built a larger hill, known as the "Bloudek Giant".

St. Thomas's Church, Rateče
St. Thomas's Church in Rateče, Kranjska Gora, Slovenia, is one of the oldest churches in the upper Sava Valley, confirmed by written documents and excavations as well as the church's original furnishings. The oldest written document mentioning Rateče is the Vidimus by the first Ljubljana Bishop Sigmund Lamberg, which is preserved today in the kapitelj archive of the Ljubljana archdiocesan archives.
Kajžnk House
The Kajžnk House or Kajžnik House (Slovene: Kajžnkova hiša, Kajžnikova hiša) is an ethnographic museum in a restored Alpine farmhouse in the village of Rateče, in the northwest Slovenian Municipality of Kranjska Gora. The house represents a well-preserved example of rural architecture, and was long the home of a typical middle-class farming family. Notable feature include the stonework door casing, as well as the frescoes of St. Florian and sundial on the exterior walls.
Bela Peč Castle
Bela Peč Castle (Slovene: Grad Bela peč, "White Cliff Castle;" German: Schloss Weissenfels, Italian: Castello Fusine) is a castle ruin above the settlement of Bela Peč, near Rateče in the extreme northwest corner of Slovenia. The ruins are located almost exactly on the tripoint between Slovenia, Austria, and Italy, lying just barely on the Italian side of the border.
Bloudkova velikanka
Bloudkova velikanka is the Slovenian name for the new complex of two new ski jumps, Bloudkova velikanka HS139 and Bloudkova velikanka HS104, located in Planica, Slovenia. Both jumps were designed by the team of Slovenian architects Matej Blenkuš, Miloš Florijančič and Klemen Kobal and are part of Planica Nordic Center. Blenkuš and Florijančič articulated the architecture of the ski jump while Kobal took care for the profile.
