Teatro Farnese
Teatro Farnese is a Baroque-style theatre in Parma, Italy. It was built in 1618 by Giovanni Battista Aleotti. The theatre was almost destroyed by an Allied air raid during World War II (1944). It was rebuilt and reopened in 1962. Santa Croce is a church in Parma. First consecrated in 1222, the structure has undergone many modifications that obscure much of the original Romanesque structure. The church was built from 1604-1619, on the site of a prior chapel dedicated to Mary, located in a site inside the walls, where troops were traditionally quartered, thus the name. The design has been attributed to the Ferrarese architect Giovan Battista Aleotti. Atypical for most post-Reformation rectangular church naves, the nave of this church is a centralized hexagonal plan.

San Giuseppe is a Baroque church in Parma. The church was built from 1626-1666 under the designs of Girolamo Rainaldi. Work was interrupted by the plague affecting the city. The façade was completed in 1782 from a design by Antonio Brianti. The interior has canvases featuring St Cecilia by Paolo Ferrari and John the Baptist and S. Francesco di Sales by Giuseppe Peroni, paintings acquired after the suppression of the parochial church of Santa Cecilia.

The church of Santa Caterina d'Alessandria (Saint Catherine of Alexandria) is found in the borgo Santa Caterina in Parma. The church, with the adjacent Augustinian Monastery is first mentioned in documents from 1313. The cult of St. Catherine was boosted in 1332, when her intercession was credited with the victory of Charles IV, Holy Roman Emperor over the attacking armies of the Scaligeri and Gonzaga.
