The Naples National Archaeological Museum (Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli) is a museum in Naples, southern Italy, at the northwest corner of the original Greek wall of the city of Neapolis. The museum contains a large collection of Roman artifacts from Pompeii, Stabiae and Herculaneum. The collection includes works of the highest quality produced in Greek, Roman and Renaissance times. It is the most important Italian archaeological museum.

The Palace of Capodimonte (Italian Reggia di Capodimonte) is a grand Bourbon palazzo in Naples, Italy, formerly the summer residence and hunting lodge of the kings of the Two Sicilies. It today houses the National Museum of Capodimonte and art gallery of the city. "Capodimonte" means "top of the hill", and the palace was originally just outside the city, which has now expanded to surround it, and somewhat cooler than the city in summer.

The Church of the Immacolata e San Vincenzo and its adjacent convent, are religious buildings in piazzetta San Vincenzo of the Rione Sanità of Naples, Italy. Founded originally in the 8th century by father Gregorio Maria Rocco of Chiaia. It was erected at the site of an earlier church, titled ‘’Santa Maria di Nazareth’’. In 1758, the church along with houses on left side were reconstructed in a Baroque style using designs by Bartolomeo Vecchione.

The Basilica of Santa Maria della Sanità is a church in Naples, Italy, located over the catacombs of San Gaudioso, in the Rione of the Sanità. The church is also called San Vincenzo or San Vincenzo della Sanità, due to the cult of an icon of San Vincenzo Ferrer, also called locally O' Monacone (the big monk). The church was originally attached to a Dominican monastery founded in 1577.

San Carlo all'Arena is a Baroque-style church in Naples, Italy; it is located on via Foria in the quartiere or neighborhood of the San Carlo all'Arena. Originally a church annexed to a Cistercian Convent. The building was designed by Fra Giuseppe Nuvolo, and built initially by Silvestro Cordella. Construction was prolonged from 1631-1681. The church takes its name from the sandy ground upon it was built.

The entry is through Sant'Agostino degli Scalzi. The church belongs to the Discalced Augustinians, who arrived in 1593 to Naples, and had settled in the adjacent convent in 1597. The church was built during 1603-1627 by Giovan Giacomo di Conforto (who was also architect of the church of Santa Teresa degli Scalzi).

Santa Maria della Stella is a church located on Via Stella 25 in the quartiere of its name in Naples, Italy. The church was built in 1571, to host an icon of the Virgin, previously held in an aedicule near Porta San Gennaro. The Minims rebuilt and enlarged the church in 1587 using designs commissioned by Domenico Fontana. A pupil of Fontana, Bartolomeo Picchiatti in 1637 designed the facade, which was finally completed in 1734 by Domenico Antonio Vaccaro.

Work on the church and adjacent monastery began in 1447, inspired by the beatified Pietro da Pisa. The church was completed in 1473, but in the years of 1516-1535, it underwent reconstruction, including the portal by Giovanni Francesco di Palma. Further reconstruction occurred in the 18th century.

After the earthquake of 1561 damaged their home in Naples, some priest of the Canons Regular of the Lateran, moved to the Palazzo Montalto, adjacent to the monastery of San Gaudioso. Here they made a new convent dedicated the Holy Mary, Queen of Heaven (Regina Coeli). The church was built by 1594 under the direction of Luciano Quaranta.

Santa Maria del Rosario alle Pigne (or del Rosariello) is a church located near Piazza Cavour in Naples, Italy. The church acquired its name, because in 1638, the zone where the church now stants was a pine forest. The trees were felled to build the convent, on lands that belonged to the Moscabruno clan. Designs of the church were by Arcangelo Guglielmelli. It has a rectangular base with lateral chapels. The facade has a statue of the virgin by the artist. The cupola is built from tufa rock.

The Church of the Concezione a Materdei is a church in the zone of Materdei in Naples, Italy. Building was begun in 1743, and included a conservatory for children. Reconstructed in the present configuration in 1789. The conservatory fell under the leadership of a royal magistrate. The interior has an altar whose design is attributed to Domenico Antonio Vaccaro, or his studio.
