Bar-Ilan University
Bar-Ilan University is a university in Ramat Gan of the Tel Aviv District, Israel. Established in 1955, Bar Ilan is now Israel's second-largest academic institution. It has nearly 26,800 students (including 9,000 students in its affiliated regional colleges) and 1,350 faculty members. Bar-Ilan University has eight faculties: Exact Sciences, Life Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities, Jewish Studies, Medicine, Engineering, and Law. There are also interdisciplinary studies.
Sheba Medical Center
The Chaim Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer, also Tel HaShomer Hospital, is the largest hospital in Israel, located in the Tel HaShomer area of Ramat Gan.
Ponevezh Yeshiva
Ponevezh Yeshiva, often pronounced Ponevitch Yeshiva, is a world renowned yeshiva located in Bnei Brak, Israel. Donated by Henry Krausher, it was originally established in the town of Panevėžys, Lithuania. The yeshiva has over one thousand students, and is arguably the leading Litvak-style yeshiva in Israel today. As of January 2007 the Roshei Yeshiva were Rabbis Gershon Eidelstein, Boruch Dov Povarski and Haim Shloime Leibovitz.
Tel HaShomer
Tel HaShomer is a district in Gush Dan in central Israel. It is located east of Ramat Gan, and is bordered to the north by Kiryat Ono, to the east by Yehud, and to the south by Or Yehuda. A major Israel Defense Forces base and the Sheba Medical Center are located in Tel HaShomer.
Meitav (military unit)
For other uses, see Meitav. Meitav is a military unit created in May 2006 by merging the Bakum (בסיס קליטה ומיון, Bsis Klita UMiyun lit. Reception and Sorting Base) and the Minhag (מנהל הגיוס, Minhal HaGiyus, lit. Recruitment Administration). In practice, it is a military base where new Israel Defense Forces recruits are sorted in to their respective corps or basic training bases, similar to USMEPCOM in the U.S. military.
Winter Stadium
Winter Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Ramat Gan, Israel. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Hakoah Amidar Ramat Gan. The stadium holds 8,000 and was built in 1983.
HaMakhtesh Stadium
The HaMakhtesh Stadium was a stadium in the central Israeli city of Giv'atayim and the home of Hapoel Ramat Gan. The name "HaMakhtesh" translates into English as "The Crater". The stadium was originally opened in 1927 and nowadays has an all-seated capacity of 5,500. There were only two stands; one behind a goal and the other alongside the pitch.
Ramat Gan Safari
The Ramat Gan Safari, officially known as the Zoological Center of Tel Aviv-Ramat Gan, is a safari park and zoo in Ramat Gan, Israel. It opened to the general public in 1974 as an African animal park. In 1981, a zoo was established in the middle of the park to replace the former Tel Aviv Zoo, which had closed down. Ramat Gan Safari covers an area of 100 hectares, and has 1,600 animals of different species: 68 species of mammals, about 130 species of birds, and about 25 species of reptiles.
Rabin Medical Center
Rabin Medical Center is a major hospital and medical center located in Petah Tikva, Israel. It is owned and operated by Clalit Health Services, Israel's largest health maintenance organization. In January 1996, Beilinson Hospital and Hasharon Hospital were merged and renamed Rabin Medical Center. It has a capacity of 1,000 beds.
Ef'al Regional Council
Ef'al was a Regional Council in Israel, in the Tel Aviv District which existed from 1950 until 2008 when it was liquidated and most its area was annexed to the neighbouring cities of Ramat Gan, Kiryat Ono and Or Yehuda. Ramat Pinkas was transferred to Or Yehuda, Kfar Azar and Ramat Ef'al to Ramat Gan, and the area north of Kfar Azar to Kiryat Ono.
Beneberak
Benebarak ("Sons of Barak") was a biblical city mentioned in the Book of Joshua. According to the biblical account it was allocated to the Tribe of Dan. In the Talmudic era, Beneberak became the seat of the court of Rabbi Akiva, and is identified as the site of his all-night seder in the Passover Haggadah.

Ono Academic College
Ono Academic College is a college located in Kiryat Ono, Israel. It is grants the B.A. , LL.B. , B. Mus. , B.O.T. , and M.B.A. degrees. In 2012 Ono Academic College initiated a Master's degree program in Law. The college has a program that serves the Ultra-orthodox population by allowing men to attend classes on different days than women. Ono is also noted for its large enrollment of the Ethiopian Jewish population in Israel.

Ramat Gan National Park is a large urban park in south Ramat Gan, Israel. It is not actually a national park.
Gat Rimon
Gat Rimon is a moshav in central Israel. Located in the Ono Valley in the Sharon plain between Ganei Tikva and Petah Tikva, it falls under the jurisdiction of Drom HaSharon Regional Council. In 2006 it had a population of 204. The moshav was founded in 1926 by workers from Petah Tikva who were children of middle class immigrants of the Fourth Aliyah.

Beit Zvi is an acting school located in Ramat Gan, Israel. Graduates of the school are much in demand in the Israeli theater world.
Slabodka yeshiva (Bnei Brak)
A branch of the Slabodka Yeshiva was opened in Bnei Brak by Rabbi Isaac Sher, a son-in-law of the Alter of Slabodka, Rabbi Nosson Tzvi Finkel. Rabbi Sher was succeeded by his own son-in-law, Rabbi Mordechai Shulman who is in turn succeeded by his son-in-law, Rabbi Moshe Hillel Hirsch. Presently, the Yeshiva houses approximately 500 Talmudic students. Despite the Lithuanian affiliation of the Yeshiva, many of its students are chassidic.
Al-Jammasin al-Sharqi
Al-Jammasin al-Sharqi was a Palestinian Arab village in the District of Jaffa. It was depopulated during the 1948 Palestine War on March 17, 1948. It was located 9 km northeast of Jaffa. As of 1945 it had a total population of 730. al-Jammasin inhabitants were known to be descendants of nomads from the Jordan Valley.

Itzkovitch is a shtiebel located in central Bnei Brak on Rav Shach street, near the Rabi Akiva main street. The building is known to be one of the most active synagogues in the world with prayer services taking place in parallel around the clock in multiple rooms. There are an average 17 000 visitors a day.
Geha Interchange bus stop bombing
The Geha Interchange bus stop bombing was a suicide bombing which occurred on December 25, 2003 on a bus stop at the Geha Interchange on the outskirts of Tel Aviv, Israel. Four people were killed in the attack and 16 injured. The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine claimed responsibility for the attack.
Geha Interchange
The Geha Interchange is the confluence of Highway 4 and Road 481 in Israel. The interchange is named after the Geha Mental Health Center which was once located near the Interchange but was moved when it was decided to construct the Interchange. The interchange opened to traffic on March 30, 1981. The Interchange allows continuous travel without the need of traffic lights or intersections for the passengers of Highway 4 who pass on a bridge over Road 481.
