Sanjak of Acre
The Sanjak of Acre was a prefecture of the Ottoman Empire, located in modern-day northern Israel. The city of Acre was the sanjak's capital. Acre was captured by the Ottoman Sultan Selim I in 1517, but the city fell into disuse soon thereafter. Acre was the center of a major economic boom under the leadership of Dahar al-Omar during the late 18th century. The sanjak of Acre was created c. early 19th century as a prefecture of the Sidon Eyalet.
Shrine of Bahá'u'lláh
The Shrine of Bahá'u'lláh, located in Bahjí near Acre, Israel, is the most holy place for Bahá'ís and represents their Qiblih, or direction of prayer. It contains the remains of Bahá'u'lláh and is near the spot where he died in the Mansion of Bahjí. The Shrine of Bahá'u'lláh is composed of a central area that contains a small, tree-filled garden surrounded by paths covered with Persian rugs. A glass roof was constructed by Qulám-‘Alíy-i-Najjár after the death of Bahá'u'lláh.
Mansion of Bahjí
The Mansion of Bahjí is a summer house in Acre, Israel where Bahá'u'lláh, the founder of the Bahá'í Faith, died in 1892. His shrine is located next to this house. The whole area was called Al-Bahjá (Place of Delight). The area was originally a garden planted by Suleiman Pasha, who was the ruler of Acre, for his daughter Fatimih, and he named it Bahji. Later the area was further beautified by `Abdu'llah Pasha, and in 1831 when Ibrahim Pasha besieged Acre he used the property as his headquarters.

Acre Prison
The Acre Prison also known as Akko Prison is a former prison in Acre, Israel. In the time of the British Mandate the citadel in the old city of Acre was used as a prison in which many Arabs were imprisoned as criminals or for participating in the 1936–1939 Arab revolt in Palestine. Around 140 prisoners were executed during the Palestinian general strike alone.

The Or Torah or Djerba Synagogue is a Tunisian synagogue in Acre, Israel, built after the El Ghriba synagogue on Djerba. The building was erected in 1955. The building is covered with millions of mosaics inside which have been manufactured at Kibbutz Eilon. The building has 140 stained glass windows and a dome.
