Haifa Museum of Art
The Haifa Museum of Art (מוזיאון חיפה לאמנות), established in 1951, is located in a historic building built in the 1930s in Wadi Nisnas, Downtown Haifa. The museum focuses on Israeli and international contemporary art, and its collection includes 7,000 items, mostly of contemporary Israeli art.
Tikotin Museum of Japanese Art
The Tikotin Museum of Japanese Art is a museum on the crest of Mount Carmel, in Haifa, Israel, dedicated to the preservation and exhibition of Japanese art. It is the only such museum in the Middle East. It was established in 1959 on the initiative of Felix Tikotin of the Netherlands, and Abba Khoushy, then mayor of Haifa.
Arc (Bahá'í)

Shrine of the Báb
The Shrine of the Báb is a structure in Haifa, Israel where the remains of the Báb, founder of Bábism and forerunner of Bahá'u'lláh in the Bahá'í Faith, have been buried; it is considered to be the second holiest place on Earth for Bahá'ís, after the Shrine of Bahá'u'lláh in Acre. Its precise location on Mount Carmel was designated by Bahá'u'lláh himself to his eldest son, `Abdu'l-Bahá, in 1891.
Terraces (Bahá'í)
The Terraces of the Bahá'í Faith, also known as the Hanging Gardens of Haifa, are garden terraces around the Shrine of the Báb on Mount Carmel in Haifa, Israel. They are one of the most visited tourist attractions in Israel. The architect is Fariborz Sahba from Iran, the structural engineers are Karban and Co. from Haifa. Along with the Baha'i Holy Places in Western Galilee, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Vardia
Vardia is a neighborhood in Haifa, Israel. Established in the 1980s, Vardia is located in the upper Carmel, between the Hadar Hacarmel and Romema. The pine forests ringing the neighborhood were once a popular site for family recreation and hiking. Several archeological sites and the ruins of stone houses several hundreds years old were discovered on the hills. The residential towers in this largely upscale neighborhood offer a panoramic view of Haifa Bay.

These structures are all set amidst more than 30 different gardens or individual terraces.

Haifa bus 37 suicide bombing
The Haifa bus 37 suicide bombing was a suicide bombing carried out on March 5, 2003 on an Egged bus in Haifa, Israel. Seventeen passengers were killed in the attack and 53 were injured. Many of the victims were students from Haifa University. The Palestinian Islamist militant organization Hamas claimed responsibility for the attack. The suicide bomber was 20-year-old Mahmoud Umdan Salim Qawasmeh, a student at the Palestine Polytechnic University.
Port of Haifa
The Port of Haifa is the largest of Israel's three major international seaports, which include the Port of Ashdod, and the Port of Eilat. It has a natural deep water harbor which operates all year long, and serves both passenger and merchant ships. It is one of the largest ports in the eastern Mediterranean in terms of freight volume and handles over 22 million tons of cargo each year. The port employs over 1,000 people, with the number rising to 5,000 when cruise ships dock in Haifa.
Shrine of `Abdu'l-Bahá
The Shrine of `Abdu'l-Bahá is the location in Israel where the remains of `Abdu'l-Bahá, one of the the Bahá'í central figures, have been temporarily laid to rest. It is found in one of the rooms of the Shrine of the Báb; the Shrine of `Abdu'l-Bahá will be relocated to a new structure to be built in the future. There also exists a home in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, where `Abdu'l-Bahá stayed during his visits to the West.
Haifa Center HaShmona Railway Station
Haifa Center HaShmona Railway Station is an Israel Railways passenger station situated on the coastal railway main line and serves the City of Haifa. Although it is called Haifa's Central Station the title is largely historical. Nowadays it is far from being central both by passenger numbers and location-wise.

Israel National Museum of Science, Technology, and Space
The Israel National Museum of Science, Technology, and Space (also known as Madatech) is a science and technology museum in the city of Haifa, Israel. The museum, established in 1984, is housed in a historic building that was designed as the first home of the Technion — Israel Institute of Technology, until it relocated to its current campus. The architect was Alexander Baerwald, a German Jewish immigrant, who began working on the building in 1912.

Wadi Nisnas
Wadi Nisnas is an Arab neighborhood in the city of Haifa in northern Israel. Nisnas is the Arabic word for mongoose, an indigenous animal. The wadi has a population of about 8,000 inhabitants. Wadi Nisnas is the setting for the 1987 novel, Hatsotsrah ba-Vadi by Sami Michael. It centers around the love story between a young Israeli Arab woman and a new immigrant from Russia.

Bahá'í World Centre
The Bahá'í World Centre is the name given to the spiritual and administrative centre of the Bahá'í Faith. Much of the international governance and coordination of the Bahá'í Faith occurs at the Bahá'í World Centre.

Haifa Cinematheque is a Cinematheque that is located at the Auditorium of Haifa in the Carmel Center. Every year a quarter of a million visitors watch the various performances. The Cinematheque works on education, promotion, cultivation and exposure of the art of the Cinema and offers a daily program including repertory, education a book series and Lectures in cinema. Cinematheque typically screens over 40 different films each month. It hosts two movie theaters.
