Glil Yam

The need to establish the cemetery was driven by crowding in the Southern Cemetery in Bat Yam. A number of locations were considered, including the area north of Ramat Aviv.

Mor Metro-West High School
The high school MOR Metro-West was established in 1991, in the city of Ra'annana, after 30 years in which the only high school in Ra'annana was "Ostrovsky". The school is named after the "Metro-West" community in New Jersey, who developed connections to the school and the whole city. Building the school was a first step towards "Kiryat Ha'hinuch" (suburb of education) that includes also the "Metro-West" sports hall, Amit "Renanim" school and the art center.
