Battle of Arsuf
The Battle of Arsuf was a battle of the Third Crusade in which Richard I of England defeated Saladin (Ṣalāḥ al-Dīn Yūsuf ibn Ayyūb), founder of the Ayyubid dynasty and Sultan of Egypt and Syria, at Arsuf in Palestine. The forces of the Third Crusade had taken the city of Acre after a prolonged siege. The next strategic target for the Christian army was to secure the city of Jaffa, which would facilitate their ultimate goal, the recapture of the city of Jerusalem.
Arsuf
Arsuf also known as Arsur or Apollonia, was an ancient city and fortress located in Israel, about 15 kilometres north of modern Tel Aviv, on a cliff above the Mediterranean Sea. The city site, Tel Arsuf, was intensively excavated from 1994. In 2002 it became Apollonia National Park. In 1995 a neighborhood by the name of Arsuf was established to the north of the ancient city.

Coastal Road massacre
The Coastal Road massacre of 1978 was an attack involving the hijacking of a bus on Israel's Coastal Highway in which 38 Israeli civilians, including 13 children, were killed, and 71 were wounded. The attack was planned by Abu Jihad and carried out by the PLO faction Fatah. The plan was to seize a luxury hotel in Tel Aviv and take tourists and foreign ambassadors hostage in order to exchange them for Palestinian prisoners held by Israel.

Modeled after distinguished private universities in the United States, IDC Herzliya is a non-profit corporate entity, taking no direct government subsidies and dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in research and education.
Herzliya Airport
Herzliya Airport is an airport located in the city of Herzliya in central Israel. The airport is mainly used by flight schools and for general aviation. It has no terminal. In early 2008, a new safety system was installed at the airfield. Plans by the Israel Airports Authority and civil aviation managers to expand the airfield southward by 100 dunams were rejected.

Hermit House
Hermit House is a spectacular though unconventional example of vernacular architecture in a similar vein to the Watts Towers. The earthen residence is situated on a cliff overlooking the Mediterranean near the Sidna Ali Mosque in Herzliya, Israel. Its owner, designer, and creator, Nissim Cachlon, has been building the structure solely by hand since the late 1970s, tunneling deep into the cliff side and using natural sea materials.

Zalman Shazar Junior High School
The Zalman Shazar Junior High School is an Israeli school named after the third president of Israel, Zalman Shazar. It is located in Kfar Saba's Degania neighborhood in close proximity to other junior high and high schools such as Alon and Sharret. The school was founded in the mid-70s and was one of the first Israeli schools to adopt the Junior High and High School Separation System. It has an average of 18 Classes, hosting 7th, 8th, and 9th grade students.

Herzliya Railway Station is an Israel Railways passenger station located in the city of Herzliya. The station has 3 platforms with a design which can accommodate a fourth platform in the future. When the Ayalon Highway will be extended past the station northwards (as part of the Route 531 project), the platforms will lie contained in the median of the highway, like the train stations in Tel Aviv.
Glil Yam
Glil Yam is a kibbutz in central Israel. Located in the Sharon plain between Ramat HaSharon and Herzliya, it falls under the jurisdiction of Hof HaSharon Regional Council. In 2006 it had a population of 327. The kibbutz was established in 1943 by a group which had formed in 1933. The land on which the village was founded had been bought from the Arab village of Ijlil by the Jewish National Fund.

Building the school was a first step towards "Kiryat Ha'hinuch" (suburb of education) that includes also the "Metro-West" sports hall, Amit "Renanim" school and the art center.
