Open University of Israel
The Open University of Israel is a distance-education university in Israel. Its administration center is located in the city of Ra'anana. Sde Warburg
Sde Warburg is a moshav shitufi in the Center District of Israel, established in 1938 as a Tower and stockade by immigrants from Germany. Part of the Drom HaSharon Regional Council, the moshav is located to the north of Kfar Saba. It is named after Botanist and Zionist leader Otto Warburg.

Beit Berl is a village and the largest academic college in Israel in number of students (approximately 7,000) and the range of programs it offers. Located on the outskirts of Kfar Saba, it falls under the jurisdiction of Drom HaSharon Regional Council. In 2006 it had a permanent population of 260.
The Sergeants affair
The Sergeants affair was an incident that took place in Mandate Palestine in July 1947 in which the Jewish underground group the Irgun kidnapped two British army Intelligence Corps NCOs, Sergeant Clifford Martin and Sergeant Mervyn Paice, and threatened to kill them if the death sentences passed on Irgun militants arrested by the British authorities on charges of illegal possession of arms, and with 'intent to kill or cause other harm to a large number of people', were carried out.
Mor Metro-West High School
The high school MOR Metro-West was established in 1991, in the city of Ra'annana, after 30 years in which the only high school in Ra'annana was "Ostrovsky". The school is named after the "Metro-West" community in New Jersey, who developed connections to the school and the whole city. Building the school was a first step towards "Kiryat Ha'hinuch" (suburb of education) that includes also the "Metro-West" sports hall, Amit "Renanim" school and the art center.
