Marown
Marown is a parish of the Isle of Man in the sheading of Middle. Historically it was in the sheading of Glenfaba.
Middle (sheading)
Middle is one of six sheadings in the Isle of Man and consists of the parishes of Braddan, Marown and Santon or Santan. It lies to the east of the island. Historically it consisted of Braddan, Santan and Onchan. It is also a House of Keys constituency, electing one MHK.
The Braaid
The Braaid (known by locals as Rumpy) is an Iron Age roundhouse and two Norse long houses on this site represent its occupation until the 11th or 12th century AD in the parish of Marown in the Isle of Man. The site uniquely brings together buildings of Iron Age and Viking styles that were used together and survive down to the present. The site lies between Braaid hamlet and Mount Murray at which reference an area map can be viewed. Also nearby is The Broogh Fort .
Crosby railway station
Crosby Station was an intermediate stop on the Isle of Man Railway; it served the village of Crosby in the Isle of Man and was a stopping place on a line that ran between Douglas and Peel. It was part of the island's first railway line.
Greeba Castle
Greeba Castle is situated between the 5th Milestone and 6th Milestone road-side markers on the Snaefell Mountain Course used for the Isle of Man TT Races on the junction of the primary A1 Douglas to Peel road in the parish of German in the Isle of Man. Greeba Castle is situated adjacent to the primary A1 Douglas to Peel road in the main Douglas to Peel central valley.

Highlander (Manx: Keeill Brisht – The Broken Church) is situated between the 5th Milestone and 6th Milestone road-side markers on the Snaefell Mountain Course used for the Isle of Man TT Races on the primary A1 Douglas to Peel road in the parish of Marown in the Isle of Man.
Appledene
Appledene is situated between the 6th Milestone and 7th Milestone road-side marker on the Snaefell Mountain Course used for the Isle of Man TT Races on the primary A1 Douglas to Peel road in the parish of German in the Isle of Man. Appledene was part of the Four Inch Course used for the Tourist Trophy automobile car races held in the Isle of Man between 1905 and 1922. Also Appledene was part of the course used for 1905 International Motor-Cycle Cup Races held in the Isle of Man.
Ballagarey Corner, Isle of Man
Ballagarey Corner (Manx: Bailey ny liargee - farm of the slope) is situated between the 3rd Milestone and 4th Milestone road-side markers on the Snaefell Mountain Course used for the Isle of Man TT Races on the primary A1 Douglas to Peel road in the parish of Marown in the Isle of Man. As part of a Ribbon development, Ballagarey Corner is situated on the eastern edge of Glen Vine and Crosby villages on the primary A1 road in the Peel to Douglas central valley.
