Collins Barracks (Cork)
Collin's Barracks is a military barracks on the Old Youghal Road on the north side of Cork in Ireland. Originally erected between 1801 and 1806, the works were completed by Abraham Hargrave to designs by John Gibson in a prominent position on the hills overlooking the city and the River Lee. Initially known simply as The Barracks, the complex was extended in 1849 and renamed to Victoria Barracks, to celebrate a visit by Queen Victoria.

Brian Dillons Hurling & Gaelic football Club is located at the Tank Field in Murmont in the north side of Cork City, Republic of Ireland. The clubhouse was originally located at "the Hole in the Wall" in Dillons Cross. It is one of the oldest GAA clubs in Cork city. The club also has playing pitches and dressing rooms at Lisnahorna, Whites Cross. The club is named after Brian Dillon, a leader of the Fenian organisation.

Montenotte is an area in the north-east of Cork City, Ireland, which had an influx of wealthier merchants and the prosperous middle classes in the early to mid-19th century. Situated on a hill facing south over the River Lee, Montenotte acquired numerous substantial residences, some of them set in miniature estates graced with fine terraced gardens. Its favourable outlook was downgraded by the development of large-scale industry in the Marina area across the river in the early 20th century.
