Whitegate, County Cork
Whitegate (Irish: an Geata Bán) is a small village on the eastern shore of Cork Harbour in County Cork, Ireland. It is within the townland of Ballincarroonig or Ballincarroony. It was once a busy fishing port and well known for its lace-making.
