Casement Aerodrome
Casement Aerodrome (Irish: Aeradróm Mhic Easmainn) or Baldonnel Aerodrome is a military airfield to the south west of Dublin, Ireland situated off the N7 main road route to the south and south west. It is the headquarters and the sole airfield of the Irish Air Corps, and is also used for other government purposes. It is the property of the Irish Department of Defence.
The Wonderful Barn
The Wonderful Barn is a corkscrew-shaped barn built on the edge of Castletown House Estate of the Conolly family, which borders Leixlip and Celbridge, Ireland. It was built in 1743 on the Leixlip side of the Castletown Estate. Flanked by two smaller dovecote towers, it was built with the stairs ascending around the exterior of the building. Several purposes are suggested for the unique structure.
Hazelhatch
Hazelhatch is an area on the border between County Kildare and South Dublin in Ireland. It is located approximately halfway between Celbridge and Newcastle. It is located on the R405 regional road. The Grand Canal passes through the area, and Hazelhatch is one of the places of recreational activity along the Grand Canal, with fishing and boating. There is one pub in Hazelhatch, beside the canal.
St Marys (Saggart) GAA
St Marys is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Saggart, County Dublin, Ireland. Marys have won the Dublin Senior Football Championship on one occasion in 1921. Since then they had been relegated to the Dublin Intermediate Football Championship and regained their senior status in 1976 and have remained a Senior club ever since. St Marys currently play in the Dublin AFL Division 1, which they gained promotion to in 2000 with their Dublin AFL Division 2 title win in that year.
