Dorset Street, Dublin
Dorset Street (Sráid Dorset in Irish) is an important thoroughfare on the northside of Dublin, Ireland, and was originally part of the Slighe Midh-Luchra, Dublin's ancient road to the north that begins where the original bridging point at Church Street is today. Subsequently, yet prior to the street being given its current name in the 18th century, the road was known as Drumcondra Lane and was shown on maps as such.
Belvedere College
Belvedere College SJ is a private Jesuit secondary school for boys located on Great Denmark Street, Dublin, Ireland. It is also known as St. Francis Xavier's College. The school currently has almost 1000 enrolled students and numerous notable alumni in the worlds of arts, politics, sport, science and business.
Gate Theatre
The Gate Theatre, in Dublin, was founded in 1928 by Hilton Edwards and Micheál Mac Liammóir, initially using the Abbey Theatre's Peacock studio theatre space to stage important works by European and American dramatists. The theatre later moved to 1 Cavendish Row (part of the Rotunda Hospital complex) where leading Irish architect Michael Scott undertook the revisions necessary to the room to convert it into a theatre. The theatre's current artistic director is Michael Colgan.
Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane
Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane is an art gallery funded by Dublin City Council and located in Charlemont House in Dublin, Ireland. Charlemont House was originally the town house of James Caulfeild, the 1st Earl of Charlemont and was designed by Sir William Chambers. Previously called the "Municipal Gallery of Modern Art", it has been renamed the "Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane", but is still often simply known as "The Hugh Lane".
Charlemont House
Charlemont House was finished in 1763 and designed by William Chambers for James Caulfeild, the 1st Earl of Charlemont. It is a handsome brick fronted mansion on Dublin's Parnell Square. It was bought by the government in 1870 and since 1933 it has housed the Hugh Lane Dublin City Gallery.
Rotunda Hospital
The Rotunda Hospital (Ospidéal an Rotunda in Irish) is one of the three main maternity hospitals in the city of Dublin, the others being the Coombe and the National Maternity Hospital. The hospital is located just off the top of O'Connell Street, on Parnell Square, on the north side of the city.
Garden of Remembrance (Dublin)
The Garden of Remembrance (Irish: An Gairdín Cuimhneacháin) is a memorial garden in Dublin dedicated to the memory of "all those who gave their lives in the cause of Irish Freedom". It is located in the northern fifth of the former Rotunda Gardens in Parnell Square, a Georgian square at the northern end of O'Connell Street.

An Bord Pleanála is an independent, statutory, quasi-judicial body that decides on appeals from planning decisions made by local authorities in Ireland. As of 2007, An Bord Pleanála directly decided major strategic infrastructural projects under the provisions of the Planning and Development (Strategic Infrastructure) Act 2006. The Board also hears applications from local authorities for projects which would have a significant environmental impact.
Mater Private Hospital
The Mater Private Hospital (also known as MPH) is a private Catholic hospital in Ireland. Founded in 1986, it shares a campus on Eccles Street, Dublin 7, with its sister public hospital, the Mater Misercordiae Hospital. Its mission statement is "to continue the healing mission of Christ by providing the highest quality healthcare in an independent tertiary acute care facility, complementary to the services provided by the Mater Misericordiae Hospital".
Ambassador Cinema
The Ambassador Cinema was Dublin's longest-running cinema and was operational on and off until 1999. It is now a music venue. The building was constructed as part of the Rotunda Hospital in 1764 as an assembly hall and social rooms on what is now called Parnell Street. From 1897 onwards, the venue was given the name Rotund Room and hosted a number of "moving picture" screenings which were a great novelty at the time.
James Joyce Centre
The James Joyce Centre is a museum dedicated to promoting an understanding of the life and works of James Joyce. The Centre is situated in a restored 18th-century Georgian townhouse at 35 North Great George's Street Dublin, dating from a time when north inner city Dublin was at the height of its grandeur.
Dublin Writers Museum
The Dublin Writers Museum was opened in November 1991 at No 18, Parnell Square, Dublin, Ireland. The museum occupies an original 18th-century house, which accommodates the museum rooms, library, gallery and administration area. The annexe behind it has a coffee shop and bookshop on the ground floor and exhibition and lecture rooms on the floors above.
Parnell Square
Parnell Square is an important Georgian square sited at the northern end of O'Connell Street, and west of Mountjoy Square, in the city of Dublin, Ireland. Formerly named Rutland Square, it was renamed after Charles Stewart Parnell (1846–1891), as was Parnell Street, which forms the southern side of the square. Surrounded on three sides by terraces of original intact Georgian houses, much of the southern part of the square and its centre is taken up by extensions of the Rotunda Hospital.
Mountjoy Square
Mountjoy Square, one of five Georgian squares in Dublin, Ireland, lies on the north side of the city just under a kilometre from the River Liffey. Planned and developed in the late 18th century by the second Luke Gardiner, then Viscount Mountjoy, the square is surrounded on all sides by individual terraced, red-brick Georgian houses. Construction began in the early 1790s and the work was completed in 1818.
Drumcondra railway station
Drumcondra is a railway station on the Dublin Connolly to Maynooth commuter service. A limited number of Sligo and Longford to Dublin services stop at Drumcondra. It serves Drumcondra, Dublin, Ireland and is the nearest railway station for Croke Park. It is elevated with just the entrance on the main Drumcondra road.
Gardiner Street
Gardiner Street is in Dublin, Ireland and stretches from the River Liffey at its southern end via Mountjoy Square to Dorset Street at its northern end. The Georgian Custom House terminates the vista at the southern end, and the street is divided into Upper, Middle and Lower sections. Lower Gardiner street south leads from Mountjoy Square to the fine stone Georgian Custom House overlooking the river Liffey. Several youth hostels are on this part of the street.
Saint Francis Xavier Church, Dublin
Saint Francis Xavier Church, popularly known as Gardiner Street Church, is a Roman Catholic Church on Upper Gardiner Street, near Mountjoy Square. The church is run by the Jesuits.
Parnell Street
Parnell Street is located on Dublin's Northside and runs from Capel Street in the west to Gardiner Street and Mountjoy Square in the east, and is at the north end of O'Connell Street, where it provides the south side of Parnell Square. Originally Parnell Street was part of the ancient road connecting the old city to northern coast, with Father Matthew Bridge connecting Church Street and Wood Quay in the east, to Ballybough and Fairview in the west.

The North Circular Road (Irish: An Cuarbhóthar Thuaidh) - designated as R101 regional road - is an important thoroughfare on the northside of Dublin, in Ireland. The regional road was long considered the northern boundary of the city and still separates the city centre from the inner suburbs.
St. George's Church, Dublin
St. George's Church is a former parish church in Dublin, Ireland, designed by Francis Johnston, which is considered to be one of his finest works. It is located at Hardwicke Place, just north of the city centre. The elegant spire, 200 feet high, became a landmark of the north inner city.

It was founded in 1872 and serves North Dublin City and County and provides a secondary and tertiary referral and care service both regionally and nationally. It is the only inner city children's Hospital and its catchement includes areas of the South Dublin Inner City.
Chapter One (restaurant)
Chapter One is a restaurant in Parnell Square in Dublin, Ireland. It is a fine dining restaurant that is awarded one Michelin star from 2007 to present. The Michelin Guide awarded the restaurant the "Red M", indicating 'good food at a reasonable price', in the period 1996-2001. The restaurant is located in the basement of the Dublin Writers Museum. The name of the restaurant refers to that. The kitchen style is European. In 2007 and 2008 the restaurant is completely renovated and modernised.
