Fairyhouse Racecourse
Fairyhouse Racecourse is one of Ireland's premier horse racing venues. Situated in the parish of Ratoath in County Meath, on the R155 regional road, 3 km off the N3. It is the home of the Irish Grand National. The first race meet was held in 1848. In 1870, the first Irish Grand National steeplechase was held there. The racetrack itself is a one mile and 6.5 furlong right-handed circuit, with a 2.5 furlong straight and a slight uphill finish.

Dunboyne railway station is a railway station serving the town of Dunboyne in County Meath, Ireland. It is a station on the Docklands to M3 Parkway commuter service (Peak Times Monday to Friday) and Clonsilla to M3 parkway shuttle service (at all other times). Passengers change at Clonsila to go to Maynooth where can connect to Mullingar/Longford commuter servcies or Sligo Intercity Services.

M3 Parkway is a Park and Ride railway station in County Meath beside Dunboyne and the M3 Motorway (Pace Interchange Junction 5). It is the terminus station on the Docklands to M3 Parkway commuter service (Peak Times Monday to Friday) and Dublin Pearse to M3 parkway commuter service (at all other times). Passengers change at Clonsila to go to Maynooth where can connect to Mullingar/Longford commuter services or Sligo Intercity Services.
Ballymacoll Stud
Ballymacoll Stud is a Thoroughbred stud farm of 300 acres in County Meath, Ireland. It is located in the townland of Ballymacoll, approximately two miles from the village of Dunboyne and four miles (6 km) from the town of Maynooth. Under its current ownership it has produced 28 individual Group One (G1) winners of 52 Group 1 races since 1960. Ballymacoll Estate was founded by Henry Hamilton (1760–1844). It remained in Hamilton hands until January 1911, when it was sold to Lord Nugent.
