St Patrick's College, Maynooth

St Patrick's College, Maynooth (Irish: Coláiste Naoimh Phádraig, Maigh Nuad) is the "National Seminary for Ireland", and a Pontifical University, located in the village of Maynooth, 15 miles from Dublin, Ireland. Carton House

Carton House was one of Ireland's greatest stately homes and one time ancestral seat of the Earls of Kildare and Dukes of Leinster. Located 14 miles west of Dublin, in Maynooth, County Kildare, the Carton demesne runs to 1,100 acres (4.5 km²). For two hundred years it possessed the finest example in Ireland of a Georgian-created parkland landscape. In the 2000s much of the estate was redeveloped into two golf courses and the house into a hotel complex.

Maynooth GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) club in Maynooth, County Kildare, Ireland. It caters for the sporting and social needs of the residential areas adjacent to its location for all ages through the promotion of Gaelic games — Gaelic football, hurling, camogie and handball. Maynooth are the winners of two county senior football championships in 1896 and 1913 and two senior hurling championships in 1937 and 1939.

Laraghbryan

Laraghbryan is the site of an old monastic settlement, cemetery and ruined church, 1 kilometre west of Maynooth, Co Kildare, Ireland. It is the site of a graveyard which is in use by the Roman Catholic Parish of Maynooth. The ruined church consists of a nave and chancel with a tower attached, most of the ruined structure was part of a church built in Norman times, however this church was built on the site of a previous ecclesiastical settlement.
