Boyne Viaduct

The Boyne Viaduct (Irish: Tarbhealach na Bóinne), a 30m (98ft) high railway bridge, or viaduct, that crosses the River Boyne in Drogheda, carrying the main Dublin–Belfast railway line. It was the seventh bridge of its kind in the world when built and considered one of the wonders of the age. The viaduct was designed by the Irish civil engineer Sir John MacNeill; construction began on the bridge in 1853 and was completed in 1855.

St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Drogheda

St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church is a Roman Catholic church located in Drogheda, Ireland. The first Church on the site was built in 1791 to a design by Francis Johnston and was partly incorporated into the present building one hundred years later. The facade is an imposing structure in the Gothic style, built of local limestone. It is one of the most notable buildings on West St. in the town centre of Drogheda.

Drogheda Park

Magdalen Tower (Ireland)

Magdalen Tower is a landmark located at the highest point of the northern part of Drogheda, County Louth, in Ireland. All that now remains of the once important Dominican Friary is the belfry tower. Lucas de Netterville, then Archbishop of Armagh, founded the monastery in about 1224. The tower itself is of 14th-century construction.

Lourdes Stadium

Lourdes Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Drogheda, Ireland. It is currently used mostly for soccer matches and athletics. Opened on 14 May 1961 it was the home stadium of Drogheda United between 1962 and 1976. The stadium holds 4,000 (standing). Although the stadium had fallen into disrepair, plans were made to develop it into a multi-sports facility.
