Institute of Technology, Carlow
The Institute of Technology, Carlow (ITC), is located to the south of Carlow, Ireland on the Kilkenny Road. It was the first such college announced and located in 1964.
St. Patrick's, Carlow College
St Patrick's, Carlow College, founded in 1782 by Dr James Keefe, then Roman Catholic Bishop of Kildare and Leighlin, and his co-adjutor Bishop Daniel Delany, and opened in 1793, is a college in Carlow, Ireland. Initially he attempted to open a seminary in Tullow, but instead took out a 999 year lease on the present site. It is notable for educating many Catholic priests, but also provides courses in Humanities and Social Studies to the laity.
Battle of Carlow
The Battle of Carlow took place in Carlow town, Ireland on 25 May 1798 when Carlow rebels rose in support of the 1798 rebellion which had begun the day before in County Kildare.
St Leo's College, Carlow
St. Leo's College is an-all girls voluntary secondary school founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1839. It is situated on the Dublin Road in Carlow, Ireland. There are roughly 900 students attending St. Leo's.
Graiguecullen GAA
Graiguecullen GFC is a Gaelic Athletic Association club from County Laois, Ireland. The club played in Carlow for many years but in 1926 they were suspended. The club then chose to play in Laois and have being doing so ever since. The club were winners of thirteen Carlow Senior Football Championship Titles (the last of which was in 1925) and twelve Laois Senior Football Championship titles, the last of which was in 1965.
Carlow railway station
Carlow railway station serves the town of Carlow in County Carlow. It is a station on the Dublin to Waterford intercity route. The station has two platforms. The far-side platform is only used when two trains are in the station at once, as it is not accessible other than by footbridge.

Cathedral of the Assumption of Blessed Virgin Mary, Carlow
The Cathedral of the Assumption of Blessed Virgin Mary is the cathedral church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Kildare and Leighlin located in Carlow town. The cathedral was dedicated to the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in 1833. It is known for its beautifully detailed spire which makes it on of the highest points in town. Across from the Cathedral is a much larger church called St. Mary's which is not a Catholic church but was built to be one. The Cathedral is built beside St.
Carlow Vocational School
Carlow Vocational School is a second-level educational establishment in Carlow, Ireland. It can trace its origins back to the nineteenth century when classes commenced at various locations in the town under the Technical Instruction Act of 1898. Some years later, in 1918, the celebrated playwright, George Bernard Shaw donated the Assembly Rooms to the people of Carlow for the promotion of technical education. Classes were centralised in these Assembly Rooms on Dublin Street from 1923 onwards.
