Ministry of Intelligence and National Security (Iran)
The Ministry of Intelligence and National Security of the Islamic Republic of Iran (MISIRI) is the primary intelligence agency of the Islamic Republic of Iran. It is also known as VEVAK (Vezarat-e Ettela'at va Amniyat-e Keshvar) or VAJA or alternatively MOIS. It was initially known as SAVAMA, when it took over the previous government's intelligence apparatus.
Niavaran Palace Complex
Niavarān Palace Complex is a historical complex situated in the northern part of Tehran, Iran. It consists of several buildings and a museum. The Sahebqraniyeh Palace, from the time of Naser al-Din Shah of Qajar dynasty, is also inside this complex. The main Niavaran Palace, completed in 1968, was the primary residence of the last Shah, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi and the Imperial family until the Iranian Revolution. The main palace was designed by the Iranian architect Mohsen Foroughi.
Institute for Studies in Theoretical Physics and Mathematics
The Institute for research in fundamental sciences (previously the Institute for Studies in Theoretical Physics and Mathematics, often shortened to IPM) is a government-sponsored advanced research institute founded in 1989 in Tehran, Iran. The institute was the first Iranian organization to connect to the Internet. It is also the domain name registry of . ir domain names. The institute has four main campuses, all north of Tehran in the Farmanieh district, immediately south of Niavaran.
Payame Noor University
Payame Noor University (PNU) is one of the largest universities in IRAN with the headquarters based in Tehran, 30 provincial centers, 485 local study centers and campuses all around the country and one International Study Center located in the headquarters. Established in 1988, PNU is a legal body under the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology. PNU took its first intake at 5 study fields at 28 local study centers.

Tehranpars
Tehranpars or Tehran Pars (تهرانپارس) is a planned city inside the Greater Tehran Area. It is considered a neighbourhood of Tehran City and lies in Tehran's eastern flank inside the area of the 4th and 8th municipalities of Tehran. Tehranpars has four main squares called 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th falakeh and three metro stations named Shahid Bagheri, Tehran Pars and Farhang Sara. Farhang Sara is the eastern end-station of Tehran Metro network.
Niavaran
Niavaran is a district in the north of Tehran foothills. Bordering leafy, uphill-winding Darband Street, it can be reached from Tajrish Square, and is close to Darabad at the far north-eastern corner of Greater Tehran.
Pasdaran (district)
Pasdaran is a neighborhood of northern Tehran centered around Pasdaran Avenue. This avenue connects Niavaran avenue (from the north) to Shariati avenue (in the south). It is about 8–9 km long and is a major commercial thoroughfare for northern Tehran together with northern parts of two other long streets: Valiasr Street and Shariati Street. Pasdaran in Persian means "guardians".
Farmanieh
Farmanieh (also spelled Farmaniye) is a district located in Shemiran, Tehran, Iran centered around Farmanieh Street. Farmanieh neighborhood extends south all the way to Sadr Expressway, where it becomes Dibaji, and as far north as Niavaran Expressway. It has one of, if not the highest household income rates in Tehran, being home to many embassies, nobles and notables of Iran.
Gheytarieh
Gheytarieh (also spelled Qeytarieh) is a district, in northeastern Tehran's city limits, within the larger Shemiran district. Gheytarieh has about 150,000 residents. Gheytarieh is famous for a large park with the same name. Gheytarieh Park was once the home of a Qajar Dynasty minister, Amir Kabir. Gheytarieh is known for its many restaurants, including fast food, found along Gheytarieh Street. Gheytariehs' neighbouring districts are: Kaveh, Hekmat, Chizar, Doulat, Dibaji, and Darrous.
Narmak
Narmak is a neighbourhood in northeast Tehran, the capital of Iran. It is Teheran's largest neighbourhood in Tehran. Located in the 4th and 8th regions, it has 100 little squares named by numbers like "Meidan 68" (68th Square) which some of them are big squares like Haft Hoz and Resalat. Some famous streets like Ayat, Hengam, Farjam, Dardasht, Golbarg, Samangan, and the Resalat Expressway are located in this neighbourhood. The Iran University of Science and Technology is based in Narmak.
Lavizan
Lavizān is a northeastern neighborhood of Tehran, the capital of Iran. Lavizān area consists of a Residential area and forested Recreation area called Lavizān Forest Park. The neighborhoods surrounding Lavizan are Majidabad, Qanat-kosar, Qasemabad, Deh-e Narmak, Shian, Kuye Nobonyad, Ozgol and Qal'eue Sardar.
Gholhak
Gholhak (also Qolhak) is a neighbourhood in Northern Tehran,a part of Shemiran, located between Zargandeh/Elahiyeh to the west and Ekhtiarieh/Dolat to the east and is served by Shariati St. , which in the old times was known as "Shemiran Road" and later with the construction of highways, "Old Shemiran Road". Previously during the Qajar era,it had a rural structure and was considered as a suburb of Tehran. This area are also houses the Gholhak Metro Station which opened on May 19th, 2009.
Jamaran
Jamaran is a neighbourhood located north of the city of Tehran in Iran. Jamaran was once an independent village; it is now a part of the North Tehran region. It is best known for being the home of Ayatollah Khomeini during his lifetime. Khomeini's family and the Khomeini Foundation, with the approval of Iran's Supreme Leader, provided offices to Mohammed Khatami and the International Institute for Dialogue Among Cultures and Civilizations in one of Khomeini's Jamaran compounds.
Darrous
Darrous is a neighborhood in Shemiran, northern Tehran, Iran. It is considered one of the more affluent areas in the city, many modern and fashionable families reside there. Darrous is bounded by Pasdaran, Gholhak, Doulat, and Ekhtiyarieh. Haj Mehdi Gholi Khan Hedayat (Mokhber-ol Saltaneh), a renowned aristocrat of the late Qajar period, was the main land owner in this area prior to 1950s, which at that time consisted of expansive gardens and farms.
Zahir-od-dowleh cemetery
Zahir-od-dowleh Cemetery is located in Darband, close to Tajrish, Shemiran (now a neighbourhood inside Tehran's city limits) and many Iranian giants of art and culture are buried there.
Ekhtiarieh
Ekhtiarieh (Dibaji) is a district in northern Tehran, Iran. Often referred to as Ekhtiyarieh or South Dibaji, Dibaji is located mainly along Dibaji Street and refers to the areas surrounding the street south from Sadr Expressway but north of Pasdaran Avenue and Kolahdooz Avenue. Ekhtiarieh is suburban and consists mostly of modest, upper-middle-class homes and apartment buildings as well as some scattered shops.

Shatel is the first ADSL2+ service provider in the country, and the first gigabit wireless network operator based on registered microwave frequency. Shatel is the brand name of the 6 satellite companies including Aria Shatel, Aria Rasaneh Tadbir, Asr-e Shatel Ertebat, Aria Rasaneh Tadbir, Aria Resaneh, Aria Tel.
Mahak Hospital and Rehabilitation Complex
Mahak Hospital and Rehabilitation Complex is a Pediatric Cancer Research and Hospital Center built and organized by Mahak charity. The 120 bedroom complex focuses on the treatment and rehabilitation of children and providing support to their families during treatment.
Qoba Mosque
The Qoba Mosque (known also as Ghoba Mosque) is a Mosque in Tehran, with a view of the Alborz Mountains to the north. It is located on Ghoba (Qoba) Street between Negin Street and Khushak Street. The mosque was closed by the Shah in 1975 because of Mohammad Mofatteh's political teachings.
Gheytariyeh Metro Station
Gheytariyeh Metro Station is the northern end station of Tehran Metro Line 1. It is located at Shariati Street. The next station is Shahid Sadr Metro Station.
Malek-Ashtar University of Technology
The Malek-Ashtar University of Technology is a university of engineering, science, and military in Iran. This university was opened in 1986. Its campuses are located in Tehran and Isfahan and Urmia(New branch). The university is named after Malik al-Ashtar, one of the most loyal companions of Ali Ibn Abi Talib. Malek-Ashtar University of Technology is often referred to "MUT" by the abbreviation. The university does not provide free access and is not open to visitors.
Shahid Sadr Metro Station
Shahid Sadr Metro Station is a station of Tehran Metro Line 1. It is located at Sadr Expressway and Shariati Street intersection. The neighboring stations are Gholhak and Gheytariyeh.
Private library of the Niavaran Palace
The private library of the Niavaran Palace or Farah Diba private library is located in the eastern part of the Niavaran Palace Complex, in two floors and one basement in a 770 square meter area and it was built in 1976. The interior designing of this library has been designed by Aziz Farmanfarmayan.
Shahid Rajaee Teacher Training University
Shahid Rajaee Teacher Training University is a public university in Tehran, Iran. It was founded in 1980. Its first president was Ghodratollahe Toorang and it was named after Mohammad Ali Rajaee, the president of the country in that time after he was assassinated. The university is located in the north of Tehran which called Lavizan.
