Tehran

Tehran, sometimes spelled Teheran, is the capital of Iran and Tehran Province. With a population of 12,223,598 it is Iran's largest urban area and city, one of the largest cities in Western Asia. Shahid Shiroudi Stadium

The Shahid Shiroudi Stadium is a sports stadium in Tehran, Iran, currently used only for Athletic competitions. Until 2009 it was used mostly for football matches. The stadium is able to seat 30,000 people and was opened in 1942. It was called Amjadieh Stadium until the Iranian Revolution. Doshan Tappeh Air Base
