Tehran
Tehran, sometimes spelled Teheran, is the capital of Iran and Tehran Province. With a population of 12,223,598 it is Iran's largest urban area and city, one of the largest cities in Western Asia. In the 20th and 21st centuries, Tehran has been the subject to mass migration of people from all around Iran. The city is home to many historic mosques, churches, synagogues and Zoroastrian fire temples.

The Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, also called The Iranian Parliament or People's House, is the national legislative body of Iran. The Parliament currently has 290 representatives, changed from the previous 272 seats since the 18 February 2000 election. The 2005 Iranian Air Force C-130 crash occurred on 6 December 2005 (Azar 15, 1384) at 14:10 local time when an Iranian Air Force C-130E military transport aircraft, 5-8519, c/n 4399, crashed into a ten-floor apartment building in a residential area of Tehran, the capital city of Iran.
Shahid Shiroudi Stadium
The Shahid Shiroudi Stadium is a sports stadium in Tehran, Iran, currently used only for Athletic competitions. Until 2009 it was used mostly for football matches. The stadium is able to seat 30,000 people and was opened in 1942. It was called Amjadieh Stadium until the Iranian Revolution. It was also home to Esteghlal F.C. and Persepolis F.C. before Azadi Stadium was constructed. The stadium was host to the AFC Youth Championship 2000.

Enqelab Street
Enqelab Street is a major trunk route in Tehran, Iran connecting Enqelab square to Imam Hossein Square. The street's full name is Enqelab-e Islami (Islamic Revolution Street) and it was named in honour of the Islamic Revolution of 1979. Its former name was Shah Reza Street after Rezā Shāh, the founder of the Pahlavi Dynasty.

The 2011 attack on the British Embassy in Iran was a mob action on 29 November 2011 by a crowd of Iranian protesters who stormed the embassy and another British diplomatic compound in Tehran, Iran ransacking offices and stealing documents.
