Tabriz Bazaar

The Bazaar of Tabriz (Persian بازار تبریز, Bāzār-e Tabriz) is one of the oldest bazaars of the Middle East and the largest covered bazar in the world. It was inscribed as World Heritage Site by UNESCO in July 2010. Tabriz has been a place of cultural exchange since antiquity. Its historic bazaar complex is one of the most important commercial centres on the Silk Road.

Arg of Tabriz

Ark-e AliShāh, also known as Ark-e Tabriz and Masjid AliShāh, is a remnant of a mosque in the center of Tabriz, Iran, built in the Ilkhanate period. According to some historians, it was used as a military castle however, others claim the structure was initially used as a mosque, but during the Qajar era was used as a military post and storage facility for weapons (in Persian 'Ark' or 'Arg' means "castle").

Haji Mirza Hassan Tabrizi (میرزا حسن تبریزی; July 5, 1851, Tabriz – December 10, 1944, Qom), famously known as Hassan Roshdieh (حسن رشدیه), was an Iranian cleric, teacher, politician, and journalist. Blue Mosque, Tabriz

The Blue Mosque is a famous historic mosque in Tabrīz, Iran. The mosque and some other public buildings were constructed in 1465 upon the order of Jahan Shah, the ruler of Kara Koyunlu. The mosque was severely damaged in an earthquake in 1779, leaving only the entrance iwan. Reconstruction began in 1973 by the late Reza Memaran Benam under the supervision of Iranian Ministry of Culture. However, the tiling is still incomplete.

The edifice was built during the later part of the Zand dynasty (1750-1794) and the early part of the Qajar dynasty (1781-1925), as a residential house.
