The University of Tabriz is a national university in Tabriz, Iran. It is the second-oldest university in Iran after the University of Tehran, the biggest academic institution in northwestern Iran and one of five biggest universities in Iran, and one of the highest-ranked universities in Iran.
Haji-Mirza Hassan Roshdieh
Haji Mirza Hassan Tabrizi (میرزا حسن تبریزی; July 5, 1851, Tabriz – December 10, 1944, Qom), famously known as Hassan Roshdieh (حسن رشدیه), was an Iranian cleric, teacher, politician, and journalist. He introduced some modern teaching methods in Iran, especially in teaching the alphabet. These are still used to some degree in Iran's primary schools.
Yadegar-e Emam Stadium
Yadegar-e-Emam Stadium (Sahand) is a multi-purpose stadium in Tabriz, Iran, and is the second largest stadium in Iran. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium was built in 1996 and has a capacity of 72,000 people. Tractor Sazi F.C. plays there games at the stadium. Yadegar-e-Emam Stadium is part of the Tabriz Olympic village, which includes a 7,000 seater swimming pool.
Blue Mosque, Tabriz
The Blue Mosque is a famous historic mosque in Tabrīz, Iran. The mosque and some other public buildings were constructed in 1465 upon the order of Jahan Shah, the ruler of Kara Koyunlu. The mosque was severely damaged in an earthquake in 1779, leaving only the entrance iwan. Reconstruction began in 1973 by the late Reza Memaran Benam under the supervision of Iranian Ministry of Culture. However, the tiling is still incomplete.

The stadium holds 20,000 people.

El-Gölü
El-Gölü is the name of a large park in Tabriz, Iran. Early history of the El-Gölü is not clear. However, it seems that it was used as a water resource for agricultural purposes. It was used as a summer palace during the Qajar dynasty (when Tabriz was the official residence of Prince of Iran). It contains a palace that is surrounded by a great square water pool almost 12 meters deep. During 2nd Pahlavi's it was reconstructed.
Azerbaijan Museum
Azerbaijan Museum is the major archaeological and historical museum in Tabriz, in the northwest part of Iran. It was established on April 1958. The museum consists of three major halls, a side yard, office rooms and a library. It mostly contains objects discovered from excavations in Iranian Azerbaijan also some artworks and sculptures of artists. Its library contains more than 2500 books both hand written and printed book about history, archaeology, art and Iranian culture.

Amir Nezam House
The Amir Nezām House, or The Qajar Museum of Tabriz, is a historical building in the Sheshghelan district, one of the oldest quarters of the city of Tabriz, Iran. The base of the edifice covers an area of 1200 square metres. This monument which since 2006 houses a museum dedicated to the Qajar dynasty (1781-1925), was built in the period of the Crown Prince Abbas Mirza (1789-1833).
Tabriz Fire Fighting Tower
The Tabriz Fire Fighting Tower is a fire fighting tower in Tabriz, Iran. The tower, standing at 23 m, was built in 1917 . It was used to investigate fire related incidents inside the city. An observer in the top of the tower stood for 24 hours of the day was watching for whole of the city for any signs of smoke and fire and when he saw any evidence the firemen were informed with him and sent to the fire incident location.
Tomb of Two Kamals
The Tomb of Two Kamals, or in short the 2-Kamal Tomb, is a funerary monument in Tabriz, Iran. Two Kamals – the 14th century poet Kamal Khujandi and the 15th century miniaturist Kamaleddin Behzad – are buried in an underground chamber: visitors descend about 10 steps to see the two tombs. There are also statues of the two Kamals near the tomb.
Roshdiyeh
Roshdiyeh is name of a quarter in Tabriz which is located to northeast part of the city famous for its modern lovely architecture. The name derives from Haj-Mirza Hassan Roshdieh, pioneer of Iranian education.
Rab'-e Rashidi
Rab'-e Rashidi was an academic complex in the 13th century, during the Ilkhanid dynasty. During its long history, it was damaged by natural disasters or during its reconstruction. Most of the structure is covered by 6 meters of soil and dust. Today it is an archaeological site in Tabriz, in north-western Iran.

Sheshghelan (also, Sheshgelan) is name of a district at the city center of Tabriz, northwestern Iran. It is one of the oldest quarters of the city, which includes some historical buildings and monuments. Quri Chay
The Quri River or Quru Chay or Quri Chay is a river in East Azerbaijan province of Iran. It arises in the mountains east of Tabriz and joins the Aji Chay just northeast of central Tabriz. The river divides Tabriz into northern and southern parts which are connected to each other by several bridges. The two Ghari Bridges, beside each other, are the most famous and historic of the bridges over the river. The Sangi Bridge is also of historic interest.

The Iron Age Museum is a museum in Tabriz, north-western Iran, which covers an area of 28,290 m². It is located on the north, northwest and northeast of the Blue Mosque, situated under the several sediments and geological strata from the floor of the existing mosque.

1727 Tabriz earthquake
The 1727 Tabriz earthquake occurred on 18 November with an epicenter near Tabriz in northwest Iran. The maximum felt intensity was VIII (destructive) on the Mercalli intensity scale, and there were an estimated 77,000 deaths. It is possible that the information for this earthquake refers to the 1721 Tabriz earthquake instead.
Tabriz International Exhibition Center
Tabriz International Exhibition Center, which is a complex with vast exhibition infrastructures, is located in the eastern part of Tabriz, Iran. It holds tens of exhibitions based on a yearly schedule. There are 46 exhibitions scheduled for the current Iranian year. The most famous fair is TEXPO, which is a general trade fair. It was established in 1992 and normally is held August 4–9 every year.

1721 Tabriz earthquake
The 1721 Tabriz earthquake occurred on April 26th, with an epicenter near the city of Tabriz, Iran. Many prominent mosques and schools in the city were destroyed, resulting in the deaths of tens of thousands of people. The total number of casualties caused by the earthquake is between 8,000 and 250,000; it was most likely approx. 80,000. At the time that it occurred, the earthquake was popularly interpreted as an omen of misfortune, or a demonstration of godly wrath.
Mansur High School
Mansur High school or Taleqani High Scool (in South Azerbaijani: منصور مدرسهسی, in Farsi: (دبیرستان منصور was one of Tabriz historical high schools was located in heart of the city at Imam Khomeini street and had been bulilt by Sayyed Ja'far Pishevari during Azerbaijan National Government. It was destroyed in August, 2012.
