Balikpapan
Balikpapan is a seaport city on the east coast of the island of Borneo, in the East Kalimantan, a resource-rich region known for its timber, mining, and petroleum export products. Two harbors, Semayang and Kariangau (a ferry harbour), and the Sultan Aji Muhamad Sulaiman (SAMS) Airport are the main transportation ports to the city. The city has a population of 639,031, making it the second-largest city in East Kalimantan, after Samarinda.
Persiba Stadium
Persiba Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Balikpapan, Indonesia. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is used as the home stadium for Persiba Balikpapan. The stadium has a capacity of 10,000 people. In 2008, the stadium was renovated to accommodate Persiba Balikpapan to compete in Indonesia Super League and Copa Dji Sam Soe 2008/09 season. Lighting and spectators' seating were added as new features.
