Jabodetabek
Jabodetabek (originally Jabotabek) was an official definition of the urban area surrounding the Indonesia capital city Jakarta. The definition "Jabotabek" dated from the late 1980s and was revised to "Jabodetabek" a decade later when "De" (for "Depok") was inserted into the name; it finally included five municipalities and three regencies, it was offically expanded again in 2011 to "Jabodetabekjur" to incorporate a part of Cianjur Regency.
Istana Negara (Jakarta)
Istana Negara and Istana Merdeka are two palaces in the same complex located between Veteran street and North Medan Merdeka street in Central Jakarta, they have a total area of 68,000 m². Within the State Palace complex also stood several buildings used for state activities. The two main buildings in the State Palace complex are the Istana Merdeka, which faces south towards the National Monument, and Istana Negara, which faces north towards the Ciliwung River.

The palace previously served as a residence for the Governor-General of the Dutch East Indies during the colonial era.

Glodok is a part of Jakarta, Indonesia. The area is also known as Pecinan or Chinatown since the Dutch colonial era, and is considered the biggest in Indonesia, as a majority of the traders in Glodok are of Chinese descent. Nowadays the area is known as one of the biggest center for electronics in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Ciliwung River
Ciliwung (means "Turbid water" in Sundanese) is a river that passes through Jakarta, Indonesia. The river flows from its source near Puncak on the highlands of Mount Gede, West Java to the Jakarta Bay. The Ciliwung river is heavily polluted. Many poor citizens are forced to live by the river because it is all they can afford. There is no organised rubbish collection for this area, so waste ends up in the river.

Jakarta Kota Station
Jakarta Kota Station is a terminal train station, located in the old city core of Jakarta. The station was appointed as a historical and cultural landmark in 1993. The station was first named as the Batavia Zuid (or South Batavia), the name of which was used until the end of the 19th century. The station was also popularly known as the Beos Station as an abbreviation from the Bataviasche Ooster Spoorweg Maatschapij or the Batavian Eastern Railway Company.

Sunda Kelapa
Sunda Kelapa is the old port of Jakarta located on the estuarine of Ciliwung River. "Sunda Kalapa" is the original name, and it was the main port of Sunda Kingdom of Pajajaran. The port is situated in Penjaringan sub-district, of North Jakarta, Indonesia. Today the old port only accommodate pinisi, a traditional two masted wooden sailing ship serving inter-island freight service in the archipelago.

The Jakarta History Museum (Indonesian: Museum Sejarah Jakarta), also known as Fatahillah Museum or Batavia Museum, is located in the Old Town (known as Kota) of Jakarta, Indonesia. The building was built in 1710 as the Stadhuis of Batavia. Jakarta History Museum, opened in 1974, displays objects from the prehistory period of the city region, the founding of Jayakarta in 1527, and through the Dutch colonization period from the 16th century until Indonesia’s Independence in 1948.

The 1740 Batavia massacre (Dutch: Chinezenmoord, literally "Murder of the Chinese"; Indonesian: Geger Pacinan, meaning "Chinatown Tumult") was a pogrom of ethnic Chinese in the port city of Batavia in the Dutch East Indies. The violence inside the city lasted from 9 October 1740 until 22 October, with minor skirmishes outside the walls continuing late into November that year.
Taman Prasasti Museum
Taman Prasasti Museum or Museum of Memorial Stone Park is a museum located in Jakarta, Indonesia. The museum was formerly a cemetery, built by the Dutch colonial government in 1795 as a final resting place for noble Dutchmen. Several important person that was buried in the cemetery area are Olivie Mariamne Raffles - the first wife of British governor general Thomas Stamford Raffles - and Indonesian youth activist Soe Hok Gie.
