Bombay High Court
Bombay High Court at Mumbai (Bombay), Maharashtra, is one of the oldest High Courts of India with jurisdiction over the states of Maharashtra & Goa, and, the Union Territories of Daman and Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli. The High Court has regional benches at Nagpur and Aurangabad in Maharashtra and Panaji, Goa. The court is one of the most distinguished high courts in the country. The first Chief Justice, the Attorney General and Solicitor General of Independent India were from this court.

Gateway of India
The Gateway of India is a monument built during the British Raj in Mumbai (formerly Bombay), India. It is located on the waterfront in the Apollo Bunder area, South Mumbai and overlooks the Arabian Sea. The structure is a basalt arch, 26 metres high. It lies at the end of Chhatrapati Shivaji Marg at the water's edge in the harbour of Bombay. It was a crude jetty used by the fishing community which was later renovated and used as a landing place for British governors and other prominent people.
Hutatma Chowk
Hutatma Chowk is the official name of a square in South Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The square hosts Flora Fountain and was known by that name until 1960. It was officially renamed in 1960 in memory of the members of Samyukta Maharashtra Samiti, who lost their lives when police fired upon their peaceful demonstration. A statue of a "Martyr with a Flame" stands next to Flora Fountain.
Dalal Street
Dalal Street in downtown Mumbai, India is the address of the Bombay Stock Exchange and several related financial firms and institutions. When Bombay Stock Exchange was moved to this new location at the intersection of Bombay Samāchār Marg and Hammam Street, the street next to the building was renamed as Dalal Street. Horniman Circle Gardens
The Horniman Circle Gardens is a large park in South Mumbai, India which encompasses an area of 12,081 square yards . It is situated in the Fort district of Mumbai, and is surrounded by office complexes housing the country's premier banks. Designed to be a large open space with grand buildings in the middle of the walled city, the area had been known as Bombay Green in the 18th century, while the area around it was called Elphinstone Circle.
Asiatic Society of Mumbai
The Asiatic Society of Mumbai, a learned society in the field of Asian studies, is based in Mumbai, India. It can trace its origin to the Literary Society of Bombay which first met in Mumbai on November 26, 1804, and was founded by Sir James Mackintosh. It was formed with the intention of "promoting useful knowledge, particularly such as is now immediately connected with India".
Brabourne Stadium
The Brabourne Stadium is a cricket ground in the Indian city of Mumbai. The ground is owned by the Cricket Club of India (CCI). Brabourne Stadium is India's first permanent sporting venue. The North Stand of the Brabourne housed the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) headquarters and the 1983 Cricket World Cup trophy until 2006 when both were moved to the newly built Cricket Centre at the nearby Wankhede Stadium.

Bombay Gymkhana
Bombay Gymkhana,, established in 1875, is one of the premiere gymkhanas (sports arena) in the city of Mumbai, India. It is located in the South Mumbai area and was originally built as a British-only club, designed by English architect, Claude Batley. The Gymkhana Grounds lie in the southern end of the Azad Maidan. The ground itself is on leased property. It has a triangular area, with the southern end facing the VSNL building.
Elphinstone College
Elphinstone College is an institution of higher education affiliated to the University of Mumbai. Established in 1856, it is one of the oldest colleges of the University of Mumbai. It was exalted as a prestigious seat of learning during the British Raj and is generally observed for its vibrant alumni. It is reputed for producing several luminaries like Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Pherozshah Mehta, and Jamshedji Tata.
Madras Stock Exchange
The Madras Stock Exchange (MSE) is a stock exchange in Chennai, India. The MSE is the fourth stock exchange to be established in the country and the first in South India. It had a turnover (2001) of 7px 30,900 million (950 million USD), but is a fraction (below 3.5 per cent) of the turnover generated by the Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange of India. It is one of the eight stock exchanges in India to have permanent recognition by market regulator SEBI.
Cathedral of the Holy Name, Mumbai
The Cathedral of the Holy Name is a Roman Catholic cathedral belonging to the Latin Rite in the Indian city of Mumbai (Bombay) and the seat of the Archbishop of Bombay and headquarters of the Archdiocese of Bombay . The cathedral is located in the Colaba area in South Mumbai. The residence of the Archbishop is located adjacent to the Cathedral. This Cathedral was built to replace the older Cathedral which was located in the Bhuleshwar area of the city, where there are few resident Christians.
Jai Hind College
Jai Hind College is a college in Mumbai, India, affiliated with University of Mumbai. After Partition, it was established in 1948 by a small group of teachers who were displaced from D. J. Sind College of Karachi, Sindh, under the supervision of Dr. Mohinder-Miles Morton. The college is at 'A' Road, Churchgate. It started as an Arts and Science college.
St. Thomas Cathedral, Mumbai
St. Thomas Cathedral, Mumbai, completed in 1718, is the first Anglican church in Mumbai, to improve the "moral standards" of the growing British settlement. It is located on Veer Nariman Road, close to Horniman Circle Gardens and the Flora Fountain. The name of nearby Churchgate station has reference to this church. One of the gates in the Fort which the East India Company had built to protect their settlement was the entrance to the St. Thomas Church. It was called Churchgate.
Cathedral and John Connon School
The Cathedral and John Connon School is a co-educational, private school located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Established in 1860, it is one of the oldest schools in India. According to the Education World-C fore Survey of Schools 2010, the school has been ranked first in the all India ranking of the best schools in India. It was ranked first in the Western region as the most respected school and ranked first in India for its distinguished alumni. It is a partner school to Bancroft's School .
David Sassoon Library
The David Sassoon Library is the name of a famous library and heritage structure in Mumbai, India. The idea for a library to be situated in the center of the city was the brainchild of Albert Sassoon, son of the famous Baghdadi Jewish philanthropist, David Sassoon. The building was designed by architects J. Campbell and G. E. Gosling, for the Scott McClelland and Company, at a cost of Rs. 125,000. David Sassoon donated Rs. 60000, while the rest was borne by the Government of Bombay Presidency.
Cooperage Ground
The Cooperage Ground is a football stadium in Mumbai, India. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Mumbai F.C. and FC Air India. The stadium holds 5,000 people. The Western India Football Association also operates from the Cooperage Ground. The Mumbai District Football Association also hold a small office. It is a venue for India's premier national league, the I-League, as well as the Mumbai Football League.
Bombay Castle
Bombay Castle (also Casa da Orta) is one of the oldest defensive structures built in the city of Mumbai (formerly Bombay). The current castle is a structure built by the British on the site of the Manor House built by a Portuguese nobleman Garcia de Orta. Orta had leased the island of Bombay from the King of Portugal between 1554 and 1570. The castle was built of local blue Kurla stone and red laterite stone from the Konkan region to the south.
Campion School, Mumbai
Campion School is a private school for boys located in Colaba, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Established in 1943 by Rev. Fr. Joseph Savall of the Jesuits, the school is named after St. Edmund Campion, a 16th century English Roman Catholic martyr and Jesuit priest. In a 2009 pan-India survey of day schools conducted by Education World magazine, the school was ranked 4th in the country. The school is housed in Wellesely House on Cooperage Road in the Fort neighborhood of South Mumbai.
Badhwar Park
Badhwar Park is the residential complex of the Indian Central Railway and Western Railway officers. Located at Wodehouse Road in Colaba. The complex has been aptly named after Shri Fateh Chand Badhwar, the first Indian chairman of the Indian Railway Board. Since its inception in 1925, all chairmen of the Railway Board had been Britons.
Bombay House
Bombay House is a historic privately owned building in Mumbai that serves as the head office of the Tata Group. Situated near Flora Fountain it was completed in 1924 and has been the Tata Group's headquarters ever since. The building is a four storey colonial structure built with Malad stone, and was designed by architect George Wittet, who later became the head of Tata Engineering Company Limited, now Tata Motors.
Bombay Dockyard
Bombay Dockyard—also known as Naval Dockyard—is an Indian shipbuilding yard at Mumbai. Shipbuilding was an established profession throughout the Indian coastline prior to the advent of the Europeans and it contributed significantly to maritime exploration throughout Indian maritime history. Indian rulers weakened with the advent of the European powers during the middle ages. Indian shipbuilders, however, continued to build ships capable of carrying 800 to 1000 tons.
