Bhadravathi, Karnataka
Bhadravathi is an industrial town and taluk in the Shimoga District of Karnataka state, India. It is situated at a distance of about 255 kilometres from the state capital Bangalore and at about 20 kilometres from the district headquarters, Shivamogga. The town is spread over an area of 67.0536 square kilometres and has a population of 160,392 as per the census held in 2001.

Lakshmi Narasimha Temple built by the Hoysalas in the 13th century is located in Bhadravathi, a town in the South Indian state of Karnataka. This beautiful Hoysala architecture temple is maintained by the Archaeological Department of Karnataka state. This temple is dedicated to Lord Narasimha.
