Ahmedabad
Ahmedabad (also Amdavad), Listen/ˈɑːmɨdəbɑːd/ Listen/ˈəmdɑːvɑːd/, Urdu احمدآباد, is the largest city and former capital of the Indian state of Gujarat. The city is the administrative headquarter of Ahmedabad district and is the judicial capital of Gujarat as the Gujarat High Court is located here. With a population of more than 5.8 million and an extended population of 6.3 million, it is the fifth largest city and seventh largest metropolitan area of India.

Sidi Saiyyed Mosque
The Sidi Saiyyed Mosque, built in 1573, is one of the most famous mosques of Ahmedabad. As attested by the marble stone tablet fixed on the wall of the mosque, it was built by Sidi Saeed or Sidi Saiyyed, an Abyssinian in the retinue of Bilal Jhajar Khan, general in the army of the last Sultan Shams-ud-Din Muzaffar Shah III of the Gujarat Sultanate. The mosque was built in the last year of the existence of Sultanate of Gujarat.
Ellis Bridge
Ellis Bridge is a century old heritage tied-arch bridge situated in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. It is across Sabarmati river. Constructed in 1869, the original bridge constructed by British engineers had a wooden structure, which was replaced by steel in 1892. The original bridge was narrow and not suited for heavy motorized traffic. Modern extensions have been constructed on either side of the original bridge to support heavy traffic, and the original bridge is preserved as a landmark.

Ahmedabad is located on the banks of the River Sabarmati in the northern part of Gujarat and the western part of India. There are 2 main lakes located in the city limits – the Kankaria lake, and the Vastapur lake. Kankaria lake, located in Maninagar, is an artificial lake developed by Qutb-ud-din Aybak in 1451.

Ahmedabad Textile Mill Owners' Association House (ATMA House) is a modern architecture building in Ahmedabad, India designed by French architect Le Corbusier. Its many walls (with windows in between) slant, and there are trees actually growing out of the side of it. Also, the drainage system is built into the handrails of the balconies.
Mahatma Gandhi International School, Ahmedabad
Mahatma Gandhi International School (MGIS) in Mithakali, Ahmedabad, India, is the first authorized IB World School in Gujarat, having obtained that status in November 2002. Another school in the city, Ahmedabad International School, became an IB World School in November 2003. MGIS is also registered with the University of Cambridge International Examinations. The school enrolls approximately 200 students from the local community as well as expatriate children.
Villa Shodhan
Villa Shodhan (or Shodhan House) is a modernist villa located in Ahmedabad, India. Designed by the Swiss architect Le Corbusier, it was built between 1951 and 1956. Building on his previous projects whilst integrating the traditional features of Ahmedabad design, the villa symbolizes Le Corbusier's domestic architecture. The building is currently used as a private residence.
Jama Masjid, Ahmedabad
The mosque Jama Masjid (meaning Friday Mosque) is the most splendid mosque of Ahmedabad, built in 1424 during the reign of Ahmed Shah. Lying in the old party of city, the mosque is situated opposite to Mahatma Gandhi Road, on the eastern side of Teen Darwaza. The Jama Masjid of Ahmedabad was probably the largest mosque in the Indian subcontinent built in this period.

Bhadra Fort
Bhadra Fort is situated in the walled city area of Ahmedabad, India. It was built by Ahmad Shah I in 1411. With its well carved royal palaces, mosques and gates, it is being renovated by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) and Archeological Survey of India (ASI) as a cultural centre for the city.
